This doesn’t work. The LED is supposed to come on when you are programming it, it doesn’t. Either battery or unit is faulty. Pretty poor given this was one of the more expensive models.

Works fine have to be 10 feet away from the door. Sometimes it works from the end of the drive. Put new batteries in no difference. Discontinued line. Could of said that 6 months ago.
Bought this remote despite the other reviews and checked to male sure the battery and LED were working beforehand and no issues. Took a few minutes to setup and happy days, all good.
Out of the package the area where the indicator light is there is a small piece missing. Also, the battery is dead or the unit is defective because the lights are inop. Considering that I drove 2 x 45min to get this broken Merlin I am certainbly feeling frustration!
Despite what it says under details and on the Merlin website, this is not compatible with an MT60 and isnot a replacement for the C945
How can this possibly be more than $50?The buttons on it are the craziest things in the history of the world. They are extremely mushy, and don't spring back properly, resulting in the slightest knock sometimes opening your garage door.I've been told by housemates to take mine off my keys and keep it in the car so it can't be knocked. I cycle, so this is impossible. At the time they didn't know I bought a new product for my keys, but had assumed as they know of this issue.This is clearly a fault and security risk. A button on a remote for $50 should at the very least be a reasonably decent quality button.
Please read and take notice of other people's reviews. I did but still decided to give this remote control a go and I wish I had not bothered. So please don't waste your time like I did. I replaced battery - all same issue. Very hard to program, then still takes no less than 5 extremely hard presses on the remote button to actually work- but in reality it's more like 20 presses. And it couldn't be any harder to replace the battery- you have to pull the whole thing apart!!! Then spend hours trying to put all the pieces back together again almost did my head in. I'm taking this useless remote back to bunnings to get a full refund.

Very gutted… I didnt have the enthusiasm to return it so I decided to pull it apart and check to see if it had a battery in it… it did…. More so out of curiosity I had a spare cr2032 battery in the drawer so I popped it in and surprise surprise it worked….To program it in was easy as…. And now it works like a dream…It is a very nice remote when it works out of the box ….My advice is try to push the buttons in store while it’s in the box if the led light doesn’t flash hit Bunnings up for a free battery before you leave then you can swap out the battery when you get home….
