I bought my second pair due to the comfort level of the boots. Within less than 6 months one of the metal lace eyelets popped off. I have not worn these in a field environment just in garrison.

Comfort is key

Took about a week to break in as expected. After a week a flopping sound went away when I was walking. These are my second pair of Merrell boots. The only issue I had with the first par is they didn’t last very long. I wear them everyday for work and chose to buy another pair because they are so comfortable. Most comfortable military approved boot I’ve found in over 20 years.

Excellent hiking boot

Very comfortable first time out. Went hunting and hiked over 25 miles in 3 days. No irritation, blisters or problems. Waterproofed them with mink oil and stayed dry in snow, rain and hail. Good upper support walking on steep and rough terrain. No break in needed.

For the price of these expected better quality

Bought a pair of these for daily wear and work. Have had them about 3 months and the sides are coming apart! For what these cost I would have expected better quality really not happy

Good Field and Garrison Boot

Still in the initial phase of breaking them in. Had to exchange the insoles for some cheap Dr Scholls, but that’s normal for me and any footwear. Soles are grippy and I feel like they are tough enough to hike in. They are much lighter than my last pair of boots, which is what I was looking for. Ankle support is minimal but still sufficient unless you plan on doing some serious rucking across the mountains of AFG. Overall it is a good mixture of a field and garrison boot.

Good fit, no break in. Very comfortable and durable so far.

Great company, but not a great model boot.

I will start by saying that I love Merrell Boots. They are one of my two favorite brands and I have both been issued and purchased them. However these boots have a very odd fit to them. They are very narrow and are not comfortable like the moabs. I tried multiple sizes and could not get a fit. I do not have a wide foot and I've never purchased a wide width boot, so I am unsure as to why these are so narrow. I purchased them through the pro deal, so I cannot return them and I am out for the cost of two pair of boots. That being said, I will continue to purchase other Merrellproducts, primarily moabs.

Lightweight and comfortable.

Really like these boots. Much lighter and more comfortable than standard issue boots, but do seem to run slightly smaller.

Lightweight grippy and long lasting!

Bought these on clearance at a local store. Wish I bought 10 more pairs! Light weight, impressively water resistant for how thin they feel in the hands. Use them for construction in place of shoes while roof walking. Grip extremely well to shingles. Almost as good as my cougar paw roofing shoes. Can walk 10/12 pitches with ease and little slippage.

Over all a great comfortable boot

Very comfortable true to size extremely light, fair grip on snow/ice comfortable on first time wearing them, haven't had any problems yet.
