Comfortable for walking/hiking/daily wear. Great sole, just the right thickness. Toe box is roomy. I prefer the leather over the mesh for comfort and breathability. I have both the Vapor Glove 6 and Trail Glove 7 in the mesh and my feet don't fatigue in this leather version of the 6, especially for all day wear. I'll never go back to the mesh. Also prefer the minimalist style of the leather. Just bought a second pair.

I used to love merrells. I've been wearing them for nearly 20 years - they used to be durable. I bought a pair of vapor gloves in July from a local store, along with a pair of pace gloves. The Vapor gloves were for dog walks, the pace gloves for running.Within 6 weeks of use there is a HOLE in the sole of the vapor gloves. The quality is not what it used to be - I used to be able to get hundreds of miles of use out of these, and now they can't even withstand 6 weeks of light use. I can't believe the quality has gone this far downhill.

Distance running in this type of shoe never worked out for me, but I recently broke a pinky toe and stuffing my foot into a conventional shoe was agony. I went back to the Merrell glove line and have been basically living in these since. The Vapor 6 Leather works well with casual office attire and is minimal enough to remind me of posture and to tread lightly. These are holding up nicely and my entire body is thankful.
Iâm a Certified Flight Instructor and find the Merrell barefoot style ideal for flying. Light, low profile and excellent traction on rudder pedals. I also were them while playing golf. The tread provides more traction than any $200 golf shoe Iâve owned. Finally, they are great all around shoes, they look good and are very comfortable. I guess the only downside may be that I am only 5â7â, and these Merrillâs donât add anything to my height đ

There's everything to love about these shoes. They look great. Fit great. Supremely comfortable. I've had previous pairs of the non-leather type and the soles have not held up. The tread has worn quickly on heels all the way through to create a hole long before these not-cheap shoes should be replaced.Merrel, these are fabulous shoes! Can't something be done to get better wear from the soles?
I've been wearing Vapor Gloves for years and absolutely love them. Very comfy right out of the box. Merrell site says this run small and to size up but I didn't find that necessary. Ordered my normal size in both black and the blue color and they fit perfectly. They offered these in the past in a canvas fabric which I wish they would bring back but love the leather version as well.

Purchased on July 9th, my first pair of Merrellâs but far from my first barefoot shoe. The shoe seemed fine, but Iâve done zero real hikes in them and have just used them for normal walking and wear. Both shoes have already work down so significantly directly under the forefoot that all the outsole has worn away, and in one the wear is already showing through on the inside. Every step you now feel the ground. No idea how you could use these for trail running, itâs been less than two months, and I predict that theyâll be unwearable in a month or so more. This will be my last pair of Merrellâs.
