I am absolutely in love with my Bobbi boots. I bought them in black so that I can wear them with all my outfits but I’m sure I’ll be buying a colourful pair soon! They are super comfortable and convenient, especially for walking my Labrador in parks with puddles and gravel. I’ve also brought my boots to Japan and I have been wearing them most days for kilometre after kilometre and they’ve been so great. Honestly cannot recommend them higher. I already know all my friends will be getting a pair for their birthdays this year! Thanks for creating such a comfortable, practical and stylish boot.

It’s been brilliant from the get go. I just love them. I think they are the correct size but have noticed they give a little. I love how much room there is between the leg and the boot, so wearing different sized socks or having wider legs is not an issue. The only thing I would say, and this could be because they have given a little is the shape isn’t quite the same as the images. The outside, but inside part of the boot wear the arch of the foot is, seems to be a bit wide, maybe. I have a wide foot and it’s still wide one me. I can’t quite put my finger on how to explain. It’s somewhat shapeless. Wonder if anyone else has thought the same thing? Regardless, I do love them and am considering buying another colour. As I said, it could be that I’m half a size too big?

If you are on the fence about ordering these, don’t be! Buy them now! They are amazing. I live in a very cold and reasonably wet part of Western Victoria and I was so sick of my ankles & feet being cold. Rather than risking getting my $200 boots (from another place) ruined I decided I needed to invest in some good waterproof boots. Cue Merry People Bobbi gumboots! Not only are they waterproof and ridiculously comfortable, but I’m also able to jump in puddles with my son at nature club every week (plus I totally purposefully walk through any puddle I find now). I am normally in between sizes but definitely size down. They fit perfectly with the inner sole in! They’re so amazing about 5 Mums from nature club bought a pair - all at the same time!!!

I enjoy wearing my Bobbi boots. I bought these for my daily laboratory work. The waterproof feature attracted me because I commute to work in wet winter weather and work with laboratory liquids. As other reviewers have highlighted, the arch support is minimal and the provided insole is flimsy and thin. I sense that this boot is designed primarily for orthotic wearers who replace the thin insole as I experienced heel slippage with the provided insole. I swapped the insole for a support insole by Lightfeet (rrp AU$49.95) This pushed my foot up in the boot and dramatically improved the fit and reduced heel slippage. In addition, I really value the free returns policy and was able to compare two sizes at home to identify the best size.
In an effort to keep my feet dry (and tinea at bay) from daily showering of residents at work, I've gone through several iterations of gums boots this past year. Most did the job but soon cracked, split and none were comfortable to wear for 4 hours straight, just serviceable. A colleague turned up one morning with a pair of your boots and said she purchased them for a holiday in Europe because she wanted to be dry AND comfortable. That was enough to have me give them a go. They did not disappoint: my feet stay dry, the traction on wet tile floors is great and they are very comfortable ! If I can offer a suggestion for future development of your products: Availability of a wider toe box (D or E) would be great ! The bobbi gumboot is definitely good quality, but fits a little small if you have wide feet. I had to size up due to that issue. Luckily returning my original pair for the larger ones was a painless process.Once you've got the right size I'd advise wearing them in at home for a few days before going out anywhere. Otherwise, they can be a bit painful for us with hobbit feet. After that though these are great for wearing all day. I spent five days wearing these on planes, around historic sites with uneven cobblestone paths, on city streets and on grass and they held up through it all.I'd definitely purchase again in a fun colour.

That’s just my self conscious self, most girls look great and still femme in them including my sister who lives in them during winter. I’d definitely recommend them.
The week my boots arrived, it rained for a few days then snowed (it doesn’t snow very often where we live)… perfect timing! These boots are waterproof, warm, roomy enough for thick wool socks, have great treads, and are so comfortable. The magic of them is they just slide right on and off without any hassle. This past week, I’ve worn them through puddles, mud, snow, ice and sand. My go-to shoes right now for all day, everyday.I’m usually a women’s 9.5 and ordered size 41 after reading other reviews. I wish I had sized down to a 40 because the boots are pretty stretchy and roomy (even with thick woolly socks).My partner is pretty jealous that you don’t make his size. They are completely waterproof and are amazing for rainy days. They can be a little slippery on tiles when wet. I made sure to try and scuff the bottom of the sole a little, and then it was a bit less slippery. I have also learnt to wear longer socks with these boots, because initially the wetsuit material rubbed on my ankle.I was reading other comments about how the boot gets hot and how it is a bit heavier than other shoes, but don’t think that really bothers me.Overall despite needing to have a bit of patience with these boots, I really like the design and the idea of a versatile waterproof boot. Sometimes look forward to the rain now, as I can walk around and my feet won’t get wet. My work colleague saw me wearing my Merry People boots and said that I inspired her to wear her boots more too!
I bought these boots for my farmer husband. We are hoping they will last longer than the previous brands that he has had, which haven't lasted a winter. The only complaint from him, is he wishes the tab at the back was bigger, so that he can get his finger in to pull them up. Otherwise, he is finding them very comfortable and warm. It was difficult to know what size to get him. He would normally be a men's size nine. We ordered a size men's 41, which was way too small. Exchanged them (which is such an easy process) for a size 44, which are slightly too big, but he is wearing thick socks and put an insert in the bottom, and they are good.
