Love this helmet, pure comfort straight out of the box. This is the second I have purchased. My first was worn in a crash (slid out doing approx. 40 km/h) where I came down hard on my head. I had a serious amount of skin off my arms legs and back and damaged my shoulder. My head and neck were uninjured thanks largely to this helmet. The helmet looked mostly undamaged, but obviously needed replacing.

Initially I was very happy with this helmet however after a few longer rides I found some discomfort on the forehead. The band has points of fastenings that apply point pressure for me. I purchased another brand that applies the pressure on the head more evenly that has been fantastic. Looks great, just think it does not suit my head shape although the fixings on the headband do not seem clever.

The Met Rivale is a beautiful looking helmet and well finished and the candy apple red is a stand out . ( Best looking helmet i have seen )The Rivale is quite a small helmet compared to most therefore accurate fit is crucial but , once found this helmet fits beautifully .Of all the brands I checked out the Rivale was thé lightest by quite a margin so , it’s impact on your ride ( in both weight and noticeably ) are négligent .This helmet also breathes very well and whistling i have not yet experienced as some are loud enough to reduce your peripheral hearing .Conclusion : a great fitting , great looking more compact helmet . Love it .

It's a really good product in terms of both looks and functionality. However, I do recommend, if you can, to try it in store before purchasing to see if the shape of the helmet conforms to your head shape.I found that my head was not a perfect fit for the helmet as I felt something digging into my skull.The staff at 99bikes maribyrnong were very helpful and provided me with an alternative that suited my head shape much better.
Took almost 2 weeks to arrive in store after I returned the wrong size, when I received it, it was not in its plastic packaging and they had put a staple through the box, scratching the top of the helmet. It’s cosmetic sure but for a premium product, I shouldn’t be buying something that’s already scratched.
A great helmet - comfortable and light. This is my second one of this make and model. My only complaint is that the pads come away from their Velcro backing after 2 years of use.
This is my second MET Rivale ll helmet( I already own a candy apple red Rivale )And there is a good reason for that , they fit well , make bad heads look good , and after much research found they are amongst the lightest helmets on the market . Price-wise ? They are far cheaper than any other helmet in their segment of the market and they are made impeccably well . Great quality .
