This book was great. However, there is no deeper meaning to it; it was just about Franz Kafka's desires to be a large bug. Its not that deep. It is not a existential, anti-capitalist story nor a reflection of Kafka's trauma. He just wants to be a bug, and so do I.

'Metamorphosis' can serve as a reminder not to over-dedicate yourself to work, lest you become a wretch impacting those around you. Short and poignant, a good read. The hardcover is decent, but the black ink print rubs off easily of this copy.
Good book and love how light it is as I can read it in the train but the translation to english is a bit dodgy with this version. I bought a different edition and it's better!
