My search for my anti-Grado heaphones is over.Have been an RS1 user for a long time and always considered them my go to in the sub-$1000 range. Of the available alternatives, I've either encountered dullness (HD6XX), while others are hard to drive from my Walkman (DCA Aeon), but this are just perfect. They sound a bit fairer to all types of music, while the RS1's sound great for pop genres and not so good with others (classical). These are easy to drive, are very comfortable and very transportable (the case is great).The crew at Headamp is, as always, a pleasure to do business with.
