Tons of grip all the way to the last mile. Longest lasting tires I've had on any of my super sport or sport touring bikes. These were on the bike when I purchased it from a friend. He replaced them both at the same time, as did I today. Got 16,453 mi out of them. Looking forward to the same out of these new one's.

The Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you tire a sport motorcycle . I bought them for my 2002 7r750 Kawasaki and they ride great. The tire makes a huge improvement of your ride and these tires for sure do the job. At first it may feel a little awkward on the rode but you’ll start to get comfortable after about 15 mins on the rode . The actually shape and look of the tire are really nice too. They have a nice design in the trend to really match any sport bike. Overall the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you are looking for a new set of tires , not to expensive either with great quality, which matters. Also, the shipping with revzilla was amazing too, really like the feature of having the ability to see each individual step in ... MoreThe Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires are a great choice if you tire a sport motorcycle . I've had these 2ct tyres on numerous bikes since they came out about 10 years ago and they are a great fast road tyre, they warm up quickly and cope well with steady speed cornering but will start to slide if you're too aggressive with the throttle on a powerful bike without tc. They suit a 600 perfectly. Soft carcass means they're sensitive to pressure so need to check them regularly. Only negative is they're not much cheaper than more modern rubber, I bought this rear to match the 2ct on the front but I don't think I'd buy a pair when a few quid more gets you something better.

Just purchased another Zx10r that came with dunlop qualifier 2s hardly any wear. I really did try my hardest to give them a go, but after 500miles I had to swap out to PP2cts the profile on these tyres is heavenly, the confidence they give especially in the twisties on UK road is unbeatable. Never twitchy never let go and literally push for your limits knowing these tyres will hold grip and ask for more. Sure they've been out a long while now, but there's a reason they are still being produced and sold. If you're on the fence just buy a set, you will not regret it.
If you want tires that stick like gum on hot blacktop, these are your next set of tires. If you want to drag knee like Rossi, these are your next set of tires. If you want to ride cross country, these are not your next set of tires.Besides the aesthetic appeal of hypersport tires these tires do a little but of everything but they do a few things great. These are perfect for lighter bikes like my application of them on a supermoto. They grip like no other and funnel water out of the treat reasonably well. They aren't going to last you 10k miles but they will keep you glued to the road for about 5k miles before you need to replace them. Confidence in motorcycles is key so don't skimp out on the one thing holding you to the road. Confidence in motorcycles is key so don't skimp out on the one thing holding you to the road. They won't protect from stupidity but they definitely inspire confidence in the rider. The tall profile makes for a great contact patch when winding up the canyons with the bike leaned over.I cannot attest to how these would preform on a larger sport bike, but for beginner bikes or supermoto applications, these are in my opinion the best out there.
The tire is a well know tire, and has been on the market for years. This tire, so far, has not let me down. No pun intended. I give it 4 stars. I wish there was a little more miles you are rated to get, and I have some testing to do as they are new to me with pushing them on the Ducati Monster I placed these shoes on. Let's see!
I have ridden on the Pilot Power 2CT for over 15 years, they have been there, rain or shine. These tires really lend confidence into the lean for clover leaf exits and entry's on the gas. Break them edges in cautiously and they will be ready whenever you are. I do not use these in colder weather, your experience may vary in the cold.
I have run 2CTs on a Suzuki GSX-R 600 and now I run them on my Yamaha FZ09 and have since replacing the Bridgestone Battleax that came on the bike from the factory. The huge selling point for these tires is the dual compound tech. I do a lot of straight line riding when I commute and then ride through the twists of the Allegheny mountains in Pennsylvania on the weekends. Its hard to remember the performance from the stock Battleax but I have never had an issue gripping in corners once the tires are warmed up. I ride other bikes with cheap tires and it makes me thankful I choose a good sport tire. They truly show their worth when I get caught out in the rain. I am never prepared to get rained on and these tires are reliable in quick bouts of rain where I try to ride ... MoreI have run 2CTs on a Suzuki GSX-R 600 and now I run them on my Yamaha FZ09 and have since replacing the Bridgestone Battleax that came on the bike from the factory. I am never prepared to get rained on and these tires are reliable in quick bouts of rain where I try to ride safe but never feel like they are slipping out beneath me. I would say on average these tires last 5-6k miles of about 60/40 straight line commuting/hard mountain riding where they get abused. The edges never wear out before the centers bald for me. Tires will change the way a bike rides so make the right choice the first time, even if you are spending a little more money.
I mostly ride on the freeway, but everyday I need to ride down a mountain road from my house to the freeway. This tire makes me feel very secure on my CB500F around turns going at average of 65-70 MPH up and down my road. I haven't come close to low-siding yet and I have even dragged my foot pegs (stock) as I have turned. The tire provides plenty of accelerating traction and I have never overpowered the tire on this bike. Given that I live in California, I do not experience much riding in the rain or snow, but the experience I do have I have not felt insecure on this tire, although I do tend to ride much more conservatively on rainy days. After about 7,000 miles I have noticed that the tire has flattened out, which I initially thought would have lasted a bit longer ... MoreI mostly ride on the freeway, but everyday I need to ride down a mountain road from my house to the freeway. After about 7,000 miles I have noticed that the tire has flattened out, which I initially thought would have lasted a bit longer (my thoughts were at least 10,000 miles), but I commute about 40 miles a day on the freeway, so that is probably the main factor for the tire flattening out. This is much longer than the stock tire I had when I bought the bike (~4,000 miles). Overall I am happy with the tire and I will be purchasing it again.
Over the last three and a half years I've put about 10k miles a year of "pleasure" riding on my bikes and I've made it a goal to try different tires after every two rears. I worked my way up from harder to softer and after trying the Q3+s I moved back down to these and I think I'm staying. Very sticky and warm up very fast (maybe three or four minutes of riding). Very confident in turns and I wear out the chicken strips almost immediately after switching them out with a fresh set. You can lock these up without fear of "flat spots" as well which is a huge plus to me because I'm a bit of a hooligan and always enjoy pushing the bike to and beyond the edge. Tread life for me is about 3-3.5k miles but take that how you like in regards to what I've already said. These are perfect for those of us who aren't looking to shave hundredths of a second off and lap time and just want to go out and ride the streets and side roads with some passion. definitely recommend this tire to those like me.
