I purchased these for my 2nd gen Hayabusa. This was a big change for me as I've always had Michelin Pilot Power's for the life of the bike but I was tired of the low mileage I got from those tires. I purchased the Road 6 mainly for mileage and after reading/watching all great reviews on the Road 5 predecessor. I put about 300 miles on these Road 6's and so far so good. They stick really well and I'm confident in cornering. I have yet to test in rain but have ridden it over wet patches on the road and was just fine. I really dig the aggressive tread pattern and they actually look good on my bike. These are pricey but I highly recommend them!

First new set of rubber after the OEM Bridgestones wore out. I am sold on Michelin Road series. I went through most all brands and settled long term on the Road series because; I prefer to ride than visit tire machines. They hook plenty and give great mileage (Over 10,000 easily) on a late model sports machine (BMW S1000RR & ZX10R). Great wear patterns. Stable to top # on high end. Excellent wet road grip too. I've got 3 seasons on a set of Road 5 on my ZX10R & not near the wear bars yet. If their is anything I don't like I haven't found it yet. A+++

Best tires I've ever had by far! Currently on my second full set, the first set input 18k miles on the front and 12k on the rear before changing out the rear for a fresh one. Changed the wheel color so I bought a new set to go on them. My friends heard how much I liked them and 2 of them bought the same set for their bikes.I've never had an issue with performance in all weather conditions, as I ride year round in NC. I HIGHLY recommend these tires and can't wait for the next iteration of them to be released in the future! 10/10

Had to replace my Metzler Tourances on my 2020 Tiger 1200 after 10 monthsr (bought in 2021) and 3142 miles. The stock front tire had worn to the TWI bars on the sides, the rear was only showing wear in the center. I ran them at 2 pounds over recommended PSI (I am a big guy). Packed the Road 6s on the back seat and headed to dealer. The 108 mile highway ride home on the new tires showed they tracked very straight and road smooth. The last 10 miles on twisty roads proved even better. Bike tracked great with great feedback. I have put about 300 miles on them and have worn them within 1/16" of an inch from fully edge and cannot say enough positive things about these tires. Only drawback so far was the price, little steeper than I expected but if I get 8,000-10,000 miles ... MoreHad to replace my Metzler Tourances on my 2020 Tiger 1200 after 10 monthsr (bought in 2021) and 3142 miles. I've been through 2-3 road 5 tires on two separate bikes. Enjoy this tire very much. However, when I stepped up to the road 6 I seem to have become very unlucky with the rear tire. I haven't logged the miles ( so, grain of salt, maybe my memory's to blame ), BUT....the center of the tire wore out FAST, and I mean like....down to wear bars in what felt like only half the time of my old road 5.I wore out the side of my last 5 before I wore out the center ( granted, a trackday was involved in that wear ), but.....still....the center should last quite a while. My bike weighs just under 600 wet, and this tire is rated for 800+ lbs.....so I struggle to fathom why the mileage on this rear tire was so bad.Tried to get all the miles I could out of it, but a mysterious ... MoreI've been through 2-3 road 5 tires on two separate bikes. I'm definitely not eager to pony up this much money for another 6. Gonna pick up an old 5 and wait to see what happens to the rest of you. That's my story. Hope it's helpful in case anyone else had a weird experience like mine with the 6.
Pricey but worth every penny so far. Currently have the previous Road 5's (Adventure) on a BMW R1250GSA and love them. Just put this set of the Road 6's on my BMW R1250R last week and then did over 300 miles in one day mostly sport riding, with some freeways and everything in between. Never thought I would find a sport touring tire that lived up to the handling and feel of more focused sport rubber..that is, until now. Feel and handling are top notch. The Metzeler Z8's that these tires replaced were good but these Road 6 tires have exceeded all expectations for both sport riding and, all around utility on the street. Cannot yet comment on wear however for the price paid I hope I am not disappointed. (The Metzeler Z8 set that these are replacing wore out on the sides ... MorePricey but worth every penny so far. Did not get a chance to test the wet grip but that is not the kind of riding I mainly do with the bike I just put them on. For reference, the Road 5 version tires on my GSA are great in the wet so I do expect the Road 6 to be good in the wet if needed.
These tires have been great so far. Little to no warm up time, they feel great and very confidence-inspiring. I ride a Gen 1 hayabusa daily so no electronics, and these tires work phenomenally on my bike. I live in south Florida where it rains daily in the summer. These have been great in the rain too. Tread life is great so far, I expect them to last a lot more miles. Grips is great, turn in feel is a little lacking but these haven't lost traction hardly ever, so I feel very safe with these.
This is my 6 or 7th set of the Road series on my K1600 GTL. Road 4s, then the last two sets Road 6's (GTLs and Road 5's were incompatible). All around a great tire giving great performance for long hauls & excellent performance in the twisties. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is I only get about 7 to 8k out of a set. This may not be fair to Michelin, because I am a pretty aggressive rider. Your mileage (and mine) may be better riding more sedately (but where's the fun in that!)
Maybe I got a defective tire, I don't know, but since mounting these Road 6 tires on my F750GS, my bike constantly tries to turn left. I've checked the rear wheel alignment, unmounted and remounted the front, re-balanced the front, loosened the pinch bolts on the forks and repeatedly compressed the forks to reset everything, all to no avail, my bike still constantly tired to turn left. It was ride-able but annoying, after 3,000 miles I finally gave up, I put my old, worn Anakee III back on the front and now the bike tracks straight and true, problem solved. My experience with the Road 6 has been very disappointing. I gave a good rating for tread life, the tires look like new, but they are no good to me.
Put these on my R1250 GSA about 650 miles ago. I've never run Michelin Roads in the past. First 350 miles were in cool, 50f, rainy conditions. I had all the confidence, no issues. Next 300 miles were a mix of upper 20s/low 30s. No issue in cold temps. Felt good cornering on asphalt at those temps. I like these better than the Pirelli Angel GTs previously mounted and used for about 5k miles. I would definitely consider another set when these ones are done!
