We are very pleased with the Michigan 15hp commercial wood chipper/mulcher/shredder. It is up and running.

I have used the mulcher twice now and was very impressed with the performance of the machine

Hi Guys, just have to say how can I review an item that I haven't received, Apparently the item an 90 kilo muncher has been lost. I have now reordered it but have not received any tracking or dispatch details yet, So at this point 0/5 not happy Jan. Regards Peter O'Reilly

box was knocked around a fair bit from long haul road freight transit but local delivery was excellent product is good, excellent piece of machinery

A good heavy duty machine

Makes short work of large branches even dried hardwood and smaller leafy material and produces excellent mulch

The printed operating manual is out of date and not for this engine. Attempting to fill the engine with oil is very difficult, get a very long, narrow funnel to slowly fill, it will seep out a little so keep a cloth handy. To attach the wheels and the bracketed support on the other side of the chipper is very difficult by yourself, so you need a mate to assist. Be careful by yourself because it’s pretty heavy. With delivery, you need to be present, because the driver needs assistance, I paid $500 delivery and yet I had to assist with the movement. The driver was great. The engine instructions on the engine are very clear and it started very well, and seems to be a very good chipper, but it is early days and it is hard to say if it can do a lot of work before the ... MoreThe printed operating manual is out of date and not for this engine. Review after a year of use

Used this quite a bit after I bought it, and then on and off over the past year. Does a good job of mulching through the log feeder, top feeder clogs too easily, so I just use the side feeder. Sharpening the blades is essential from time to time, and a bit fiddley to remove and replace, but quite achieveable. I had to weld the drive belt safety cover back on after it vibrated off. The main log feeder is now breaking from the side plate, so will need to weld that back in place too. Besides these repairs, the unit does a great job of mulching logs up to 70mm or so in diameter quite quickly. Very watery / fleshy material can clog it up, but on the whole most bushes / tree cuttings go through very well with good throughput and capacity.
