Michu Macaron High Edge Open Style Extra Large Cat Litter Box Daisy

I purchased this for my cat, who has had a covered litter box her whole life until we moved across the country together. Turns out my kitty likes to back her butt up to the very back of the litter box when she pees, which in a standard box meant that she was peeing over the edge and onto the wall. This was obviously gross and smelly. So I purchased this box and thank goodness, it’s high enough to prevent her from missing even though she aims like a Stormtrooper. We’re gonna call that a win!

I’ve spent more money on “nonstick” litter boxes in hopes that one of them would actually work and they never did...until now. As soon as I took this one out of the box I knew it was different. The material it’s made of is not like any other litter box which is why it’s so frickin easy to clean!! It’s incredibly sturdy and my cat doesn’t make a mess outside the box when he scratches his litter. I do believe I’m going to replace his other boxes with this one when I get home from my travels.

My black cat is really long, so she's a fairly large cat in that respect and I had a HARD time finding a litter box that would fit her, but most IMPORTANTly, one that was high enough on the sides so that the litter doesn't spill over onto the floor, and this one is IT!!! I KNEW from the minute that I laid eyes on it, that this was the litter box for me and my cat!!! This litter box is HUGE and high enough on the sides and the plastic is DURABLE where it won't ever crack like some plastic boxes that are made with hard plastic that CRACKS!!! Our house just smells like house. Not house and cat pee. Recently we were visiting relatives out of town and had to bring our cats along. I brought our litter and an inexpensive throw-away plastic pan. By the end of four days, our cats managed to claw deep grooves into the plastic and it stunk like holy hell. This box is great. No grooves for bacteria growth. I highly recommend this litter box.

Having purchased more litter boxes than I can count over the years and not being happy with any of them - I even resorted to large plastic storage tubs - the Michu Macaron is simply the best litter box ever. I have 2 cats, one 16 and one 6 who is a huge cat and kicks the litter everywhere but with these boxes, no more litter everywhere or tracking it through the house. So easy to clean and the litter scoops are awesome. So worth buying.

There is a cat in my home (thanks for that, Kids). She is lazy, overweight (no matter that she’s been on a strict diet for a year) and seems to enjoy making her point by crapping on the floor in front of her box. Apparently my once a day efforts at cleaning her other litter box were unacceptable. She refuses enclosed boxes and self cleaning boxes as well. To say I was not pleased with her behavior is an understatement. So I bought this gem and a litter genie so that I could clean up her business several times a day and she has not had any overt terrorizing incidences since. I hate her less. Apparently the feeling is mutual since I don’t have to clean her turds off the floor, or smell them any longer. For now, we call an uneasy truce.

My cat, Mog, is about 5-6 pounds, and a standard-height litter box just wasn’t high enough for him. Consequently, he was peeing all over, even though he was being a good boy and using his potty correctly. This litter box completely changed all that and fixed the pee problem completely! Mog is very comfortable in his new toilet, and I’m so happy I bought it for him. I definitely recommend this box.

The Box litter box is great. I've been using it for over 2 months now, and I'm really impressed with it. It's nice looking, roomy, and soooooo much easier to clean than other litter boxes. Instead of spending all the time I used to scraping and scrubbing the hardened litter (on the bottom of the box from the cat who pees on the box surface), it comes off sooooooo much easier and quicker. Although it's pricey for a litter box, I think it's well worth it based on the time and effort saved on cleaning.

My 17 year old (female) cat recently started 'missing' the litter box with her urine. It would all be on the outside of the box where she was apparently trying to squat. After much research--which led me to believe she has arthritis--I bought this box for a couple of reasons and my instincts were right. it has high sides so the urine completely stays inside the box. I've been using this box for a couple weeks now with no more accidents

Okay, so I made the biggest mistake of my life by declawing my first indoor cat. I've used the Purina Breeze litterbox system since she was a kitten. She's now four and I can literally see she's in pain. This past year she has been pooping outside of the litter box and sometimes peeing outside of the litter box. I decided that it's because of her paw pain and tried this litter box with Dr. Elsey's paw sensitive litter. She now uses the litter box to pee and poo AND even covers her poo now. (She never has since she's been declawed.) PLEASE do NOT declaw your cat. There are so many alternatives. Overall I thoroughly like this litter box! Just as it says pee and poo don't stick to the bottom. And the Michu Macaron litter scoop. The size is perfect for my 10 kg girl.
