The Razer Seirn X was designed and tested in collaboration with top streamers to make sure your voice is heard as loud and clear as possible. Thanks to the microphone technology, you can take the first step towards adding a whole new level of quality to your live streams. Thanks to a super-cardioid polar pattern, sound is recorded within a smaller angle. This removes unwanted background noise and allows the audience to hear your voice clearly without missing a single word. When the going gets hot, unintentional vibrations can occur. In such cases, the built-in microphone tiller can reduce vibrations and save the stream's audio from anomalies. Most professional microphones sound great, but tend to look too big on smaller tables. Thanks to its compact and sleek exterior, the Razer Seirn X offers superior streaming performance without taking center stage. Super-cardioid type pickup pattern to reduce background noise. Integrated microphone spider to reduce vibration.

I ended up returning this product for a few reasons:1. Although at the 70 dollar price point when it was on sale is reasonable, it is overall a fairly cheap product. It has barely any weight to it, and it largely made of plastic. For a product that originally costs $100, I would have expected it to be on par in terms of construction with other microphones around the same price.2. The live testing/feedback from the headphone jack on the microphone is QUIET. You can barely hear yourself when you talk even if you turn up your levels to the max.3. Overall the customization of this is pretty bad. It is a plug and play type (no software etc.), but even after toying around with multiple Windows 10 mic settings and volume levels, it was hard to strike a good balance ... MoreI ended up returning this product for a few reasons:1. It is a plug and play type (no software etc.), but even after toying around with multiple Windows 10 mic settings and volume levels, it was hard to strike a good balance of volume levels for close sounds, but not picking up background sounds.4. Despite what the mic claims, this DOES pick up a LOT of background noise. Noises in other parts of my apartment that are separated by walls still got picked up. My headset mic does a better job of picking up local sounds.I did take the time to do research via reviews and guides online to adjust settings, so I don't believe this has anything to do with my system or how it was set up, but rather a lack of customization makes this mic very hard to use in all but the quietest of spaces.Overall it just feel like a very mediocre product with the Razer name slapped on it. While I love Razer for their gaming peripherals such as mice and keyboards, I would give a hard pass on this and not recommend it to anybody. Buy a mic coming from a company that specializes in microphones, and I assure you will be please (I am planning to purchase a Blue for what it's worth for around $100).

My mic use is mainly for work, I have virtual calls everyday. I also use it in Discord to game with friends and I record videos occasionally. I upgraded from a Blue Snowball ICE to this mic and I'm really happy with the quality difference. The Snowball had good quality, but the levels were low and I have a lower voice so it sometimes wouldn't pick up what I was saying or cut in and out. The Seiren has fixed all those problems. I'm loud and clear on the mic. This mic is supposed to be a step up from the Blue Snowball, and be more of a competitor to the Blue Yeti X, Elgato Wave 3 and AT2020, but for 33-50% cheaper. Throw in the additional 50% off for the refurb, and it's an unbeatable deal. It basically costs the same as the Snowball, for 2-4x the value. I bought this microphone less than a month ago, and my experience with it has been nothing but crap. Razer doesn't care about their products or customers, they just want to sell sub-par mics like this off of brand recognition. For the first couple weeks I had this it make a horrible buzzing noise that I couldn't fix, before one day just giving out. I tried everything, but the microphone just died. DO NOT GET THIS MIC!!!

Having a microphone that is powered and and transmitted through usb is significantly cleaner than using an audio interface. This mic sounds good once you've figured out where to place it. It actually does fit onto a standard mic stand, which is where I have it. It was a little too quiet using it's own base and where it could be positioned. I got it on sale, so the value was good. I know other reviewers are being nitpicky with this mic, but for the vast majority of users, you wont even notice it. I know I didn't notice any short comings after I had watched a review video on youtube.Anyway, if on sale, go for it. If you're more of an audiophile, chances are you aren't really looking for something in the "affordable" bracket for microphones.
I wads in Micro Center looking for a new microphone for my Mac. One of the salesman help me exactly what I needed. It was the Razer Seiren X USB Streaming Microphone. When I like about it is that it's very easy to use. It's just plug and play. It's well-made and doesn't take up a lot of space. Ef fact it was so good that I used it to document this review. Didn't have to lift a finger. All I had to do is turn on my microphone. Thanks Micro Center.
Disclaimer: BB sends email out asking for review before the items is received, then they send email after email asking fad a reminder. With that said, I’ve not owned the product long enough to give a thorough review but here are my initial thoughts. It’s a mic. It works as a mic. I cannot attest to the quality yet but it powers on, works on Discord calls and Teams meetings. What I don’t like - when booting up the PC, one would expect that the device defaults to muted as there’s no actual power button but it doesn’t. Second thing is that there is a knob/dial on the front that turns but I really have no idea what it does. This doesn’t put out sound so it’s not that and I’ve asked others on my calls if they can hear a difference when I change the dial, they can’t tell ... MoreDisclaimer: BB sends email out asking for review before the items is received, then they send email after email asking fad a reminder. All in all, I’m giving 3 stars as that’s my default that an item functions as it’s purpose - it’s a mic and people can hear me when I use it.I’ll edit the rating and review once I’ve used it more and can give a true rating based on its performance if it far exceeds or truly fails being a microphone.
I was excited about this because i have the Razer Seiren mini, which is one of the best mics one can buy for the money!unfortunately this iteration did not improve much enough to justify the price tag. The only thing missing for me from the mini was an on-mic mute button, which this had. However, the location of the usb connection is very ugly for the mic stand i use. additionally, the mic is overly plasticky and does not give a premium feel to it.skip this one and buy the mini
Good mic for amateur streamers or just chatting with your friends. The lack of polar patterns is a bummer, but for most people, the single option of "super"cardioid is all people need. That being said, it still picks up mild room noise despite the "super" effect supposedly being designed to combat this. The plastic knob for headset volume (there is no gain knob) feels a bit on the cheap side.. The sound is great for what I paid at $70 on sale. However, if paying full price of $100, I would suggest spending the few extra to get the better sounding, more versatile, Blue Yeti.Weird side note, it does pick up a frequency buzz when I put my cell phone within 6-8 inches of it. Poorly shielded? I'm not sure. But a minor complaint.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This mic is terrible. It was $100 on the Razor website, I get it in and realize the volume knob is for the headset.. ok fine.. plug in my headset. Doesn't work (yes, i made sure the sound settings and everything were correct). The mic works, however the background noise it picks up is so bad I cant use it. I try to adjust gain... mic does not have that function. I download software to adjust it and that helps slightly but its still terrible. Then I would mute the mic, unmute it, and the mic would still act as if it was muted. I paid 100 for this??? When i go to refund it, razor "cant process my return at this time" AND wants to charge me $15 dollars to refund their terrible scam of a product? Worst thing I have ever bought. I bought this microphone in the November of 2022, and it broke after 11 months. The first problem I encountered was that, it had this terrible buzzing/static sound. I searched up about this issue, and its apparantly caused by the microphone being too close to the wifi router. My computer is placed directly next to the wifi router, so that was an issue. After a couple months, in February, I encountered a problem where the microphone would not turn on when I booted my computer, so each time I wanted to use my microphone, I would have to go underneath my desk to unplug and replug in the USB connector to my motherboard. The problem was gone for a month randomly, then it died completely, and is not turning on anymore.
