I love this zester — can’t bake without it. After many years of frequent use I finally wore out my first one and I was delighted to discover that (unlike many things) it hadn’t doubled in price. Delivery was very quick and now I can zest citrus much faster again.

It works well but it doesn’t feel that great in my hand. Rigid plastic with rough edges. The cover is not easily put back in place. Definitely one of those items that you get what you paid for. It’ll do the job though.

Fabulous product. I only bought a new one because the old one feel out of the window on the 5th floor. Bought them for the whole family. No better way ot grate Parmesano regganio/grana padano/
Sent to my son as a gift. I have had one for several years and use it frequently. Does a great job zesting citrus fruits for recipes. Also good for parm cheese. Far better than that powder sold in shakers that is sold as parm. Takes only minutes and has so much better flavour. Many other uses as well. Every cook should have one.
I bought even cheaper versions of a micro plane/grater before and they were horrible.I thought for under $15, I'd try this one on line at Wal-Mart.It greatly exceeds my expectations. It is very sharp, comes with a blade protector for storage, cleans up easy, dishwasher safe.I have not used it to grate things like fresh nutmeg, but I suspect it will do just fine.Works very well on real parmesan cheese and does an excellent job zesting lemons and limes.Highly recommend!
Love this microplane. Have used it for nutmeg, lemon, and lime zest, dark chocolate, parmesan/reggiano and garlic. It's somewhat hard to clean, I feel like scrubbing the teeth dulls it and ruins my cleaning tool but I love the microplane. This has leveled up my kitchen adventures. I made blueberry muffins with fresh grated nutmeg and a waffle board with microplaned parmesan/reggiano (photos attached).
Great Zester. Came with a plastic case to keep it in if you choose.It has done an excellent job of zesting an orange and a lemon. I love that the depth of the underside is deep enough to hold all of the zest from whatever I am zesting. I believe that it is made very well and I'm very satisfied with this brand zester over others I tried and threw away.
It's worth it to pay for the Microplane brand--works so much better than others.I decided to buy it here from Walmart, choosing Walmart.com as the preferred vendor in the sort on the sidebar after reading a LOT of horror stories on that "other" major online website about all the fakes and lookalikes being sold. I had confidence I'd be getting the real deal from Walmart directly.It's sad, but times have changed and online shopping is a minefield out there now. I'm happy with my purchase, and boy, does it make a giant mountain of grated parmesan!
