I am an IT engineer from an University. O355 offers a comprehensive suite of tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more, all seamlessly integrated into the cloud. The real-time collaboration features are a boon for team projects, allowing colleagues to edit documents simultaneously from anywhere. The secure cloud storage ensures peace of mind with automatic backups and easy file sharing. Plus, the subscription model provides flexibility and scalability, making it suitable for both small startups and large enterprises. With regular updates and excellent customer support, Office 365 keeps businesses efficient and competitive in today’s dynamic market.

I purchased a Microsoft Business Standard 1 year subscription product key that did not work. Contacted customer service to be told that I needed to reach out to Microsoft for assistance as the product key had been redeemed. Microsoft customer support confirmed that it had not been redeemed and that Staples needed to cancel the old key and reproduce a new one. After dealing with this issue for 2 weeks, Staples has now refused to provide a credit for the product I purchased.DO NOT BUY this product through Staples. Go to Microsoft directly. Better service and better pricing!

Microsoft 365 is a very integrated suite of applications and works well across both Mac OS and Windows OS. I think it can be considered the gold standard for creating documents, presentations, and taking notes. Where it lacks is the way it integrates all of its applications in the collaboration space. For example, when editing specific documents via the web app or in Teams, the ribbon does not have all the features compared to the actual desktop applications. I definitely like how the collaboration space is always constantly improved and is more efficient. It's a much smoother experience when all party members are editing via a web app compared to when some are using the desktop app. Sometimes the desktop app versions do not sync or connect properly. Complex Setup for Business Edition
12 February 2022

I chose the Business Standard edition because it provided the full stand-alone (Premium) apps for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams. It also allowed one user to use the apps on more than one computer, which is what I wanted. (Read the descriptions carefully--some bundles are multiple users on one computer and some bundles required you to be connected to the internet to use them.)However, the business edition assumes you are a small business and you want to set up an administrator account, domain name and business email account. This is a more complex process and you end up with multiple sign-ins and multiple email accounts and the setup is not very user friendly. This is a more complex process and you end up with multiple sign-ins and multiple email accounts and the setup is not very user friendly. Microsoft chose my email domain name for me even through I tried skipping that step during set-up. The online help videos were outdated and based on an older version of 365.Unfortunately none of the other bundles that Microsoft offered met my needs. After spending about 3 hours on the phone with Microsoft support, I got something that was workable, but not quite what I originally wanted. It probably would have been easier to buy the apps I needed separately than try and get a deal on the business edition. (But it would have been more expensive.)If you know what you are doing, I am sure it was fine. However, the business edition adds a new layer of complexity if you haven't dealt with it before. Microsoft support was great however and the tech support it is included in the Business Standard package.

Complicated setup
18 October 2022

I purchased this from the retailer where I bought my new laptop. Subsequently, I had issues with transferring my old Outlook files into the updated Outlook program. After working extensively with a Microsoft rep, I found out I paid WAY too much for the Office 365 suite. I could have purchased it directly from Microsoft. Would I still have had data transfer issues had I done that? Maybe. But I would have paid a lot less for the Office suite! Despite my issues with setting up the products, it's still a requirement for my business, so I have to recommend this updated version.

Do not order this!
29 December 2023

Do not order this Microsoft 365 Business Standard Program! I ordered this right before Christmas. It was only $79 and it was the lowest price I could find. I received a 32 gb SanDisk instead of the software. I did not receive any product code. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before purchasing. When I received the flash drive, I then read the reviews. That's when I read that someone else received as flash drive as well. I was too scared to insert the usb drive into my computer in case it had a virus on it. I returned it the same day I received it in the mail and received a refund within a few days. Before I started writing this review, I read the reviews again. There is another review from someone saying it seems like a scam. This third-party business emailed them asking for business license. This company does not need that information. I definitely believe that this is a scam.

Microsoft 365, your all around collaboration tool

Microsoft 365 is used by our whole organization. This includes the following suite of apps: Word Excel Powerpoint Onenote Teams Onedrive All of our marketing material and presentation material is created using Powerpoint with a custom-made template. Although we use Slack for our internal communication, many customers we interface with use Teams, so with having Teams it allows us to communicate with them. We use the Onedrive or Sharepoint to share documents and material via the cloud and utilize the restricted access features of onedrive and Sharepoint. For documents that require to be exported to document control management tools, we start them in a Microsoft Word format then convert to PDF. Seems like a scam
24 December 2023

The price was really good… but this might be a situation where if it’s too good to be true… then it is.I bought two licenses, but then started getting messages from the 3rd party seller asking if this was for a business. I said yes… but I just need the codes for both subscriptions. They then emailed me saying that I need to give them a business license or something. Anyhow… seems like it could be a scam. I requested a refund from Walmart.

If I Could Give it a zero I would cause I never got to use it. Somehow someone used the code and stole the software. I called Best Buy and you guys blamed go daddy and Microsoft. . Go daddy and Microsoft both said there is nothing they can do cause I bought it from Best Buy. So now what? I’m out the software and what I paid for it because Best Buy is the only one who gives you a code to set up the software?? Not ok

[Rewarded Review] MS 365 / Mac Sonoma OS issues
28 April 2024

After debating about staying with Home / Student version, I switched. There is many extras on 365 - but I reaally didn't need them. The One drive and cloud based is ok. However, I had immediate problems with running anything off my desktop, Files wouldn't open. Could not save. All permission issues that I'm battling for the 2nd time now. Microsoft support was good in the sense of wanting to solve, but wanted to blame it on apple. Apple support blamed 3rd party. After many days and too many hours on the phone, we decided to wipe the computer and back up to pre Sonoma OS. It actually worked!! Anothert hour the next day with Apple. ITs been a week now and cannot do anything other than view or edit strictly on the 1 drive, I cannot email any files. Hopiing to get to the apple store tomorrow to se if a genius can come up with anything other than wiping and restoring.
