Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13.5inch I7 16GB 512GB Win11P Platinum

I bought this laptop after I had a hp computer that was very slow and would take forever to even turn on and load. So far this microsoft laptop has the old one beat in every way. It is very fast in all ways and reliable. Also had at least one usb-a connector that I was looking for in a computer to update my other devices that I need. This is a great computer and I'd highly recommend it.

A little pricey compared to to other brands, but I like that it has all the features I want: touch screen, lightweight, small to carry around. Battery life is good. I don’t use it a lot so I think the battery last. Though It feels a little slow after using for a while. And it can get scratched easily.

BEWARE OF SELLER PRO-OB

Bought inept laptop online from PRO-OB/BEST BUYSupposedly OPEN BOX LAPTOP, CAME WITH GENERIC 3rd PARTY CHARGER AND MORE FLAWS, NOT NEW OPEN BOX PRODUCT.received it set up in French which I had to fix myself to English. Also the windows limited edition is garbage, the charger is not original charger. They sent laptop with a third party (generic) charger that doesn’t fit, it constantly slips off, Have to keep pushing charger back in for charging to continue. Also laptop goes into sleep mode and can’t wake it back on by pressing any key, I have to force power off and turn laptop back on. & go through sign in process. They refused to take product back with lame excuses and that I could mail it back and they would review claims. I wanted to take it back to a Best Buy ... MoreBought inept laptop online from PRO-OB/BEST BUYSupposedly OPEN BOX LAPTOP, CAME WITH GENERIC 3rd PARTY CHARGER AND MORE FLAWS, NOT NEW OPEN BOX PRODUCT.received it set up in French which I had to fix myself to English. I wanted to take it back to a Best Buy but because I bought online I have to mail it back. That is weeks if not months of inconvenience. But they didn’t care nor helped. They also responded with generic emails, no human explanation.I am reviewing this with BBB and CRTC/consumers agents.

Great good looking laptop with punch

These laptops get bad press because of their lack of upgradability but this is no different to some mac products and this unit is competitive directly here. I love the fact that it has the lovely alcantara keyboard but in a rigid form factor and I equally love the fact that the screen can be supported from the keyboard. I get a good 8 hours of use and my battery is on around 130 cycles. If you want to draw this model is not for you but if you want to use to touch and the odd basic drawing you would get away with this here. I have the i.5 256gb version and this meets my needs for a typical home user that wants office emails web and movies. I think it looks great also and with Windows 10 pro its just outstanding. I would recommend any of the surface range to people ... MoreThese laptops get bad press because of their lack of upgradability but this is no different to some mac products and this unit is competitive directly here. I would recommend any of the surface range to people but this model to me is the laptop replacement with added touch. If you need to draw go pro , if you need power go book - they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Ive put photos of the surface book keyboard compared to the whole surface laptop to give you an idea of how thin it is

Great laptop, not so great battery life

I bought this for my teenage daughter for online college. She really likes the style and color (even though it's not the same color as Apple rose gold!). The biggest downfall we've seen so far is the battery life. It struggles to go just 2-3 hours. Not sure what's taking the battery down so quickly. Otherwise, face unlock is great, the speakers sound good for an ultrabook. Very happy with this laptop!

Microsoft surface laptop 5 13.5"

I had the microsoft surface laptop 3 13.5" back in 2020 REALLY great versatile laptop. Touch screen, beautiful sandtone color , im not a gamer so I cant write much of a review on the device capabilities with gaming. Otherwise this laptop feels sturdy with the aluminum build. The mouse pad does make noise but not enough to be a nuisance and you get used to it. Storage gigabyte is awesome!!! easy to use laptop with microsoft software that helps you navigate the laptop in terms of functionality. It gets the done and more. Now for the con, my biggest issue is how fast the battery life depletes, i feel as though i have to keep charger close by. Hope microsoft can work on future models being more anle to sustain usage without losing charge so fast. Overall im glad i ... MoreI had the microsoft surface laptop 3 13.5" back in 2020 REALLY great versatile laptop. Perfect ‘Everything’ Laptop

The laptop came in like new condition. It has operated extremely fast and the touch screen feature works perfectly for note taking! I have also played a few games that have run smoothly. Overall, a great choice for using it on a little bit of everything. 10/10 for this laptop!

Small, sleek & snazzy - but rose gold is too much

My daughter picked this out for college. She wanted small and lightweight, and this laptop is both those things. What really sealed the deal is the shape and size of the screen. It's square rather than rectangular, so it is taller than most similarly sized laptops. This small difference in dimensions makes a huge difference in the amount of content that can be seen on the page, as the page's "fold" is farther down on the screen. Compare the same webpage on this laptop to a similar one and you'll see a big difference. One problem is the price. Even on sale, it was more expensive than all other laptops with similar specs, other than the square screen. The rose gold was just too much color, so we returned it and got the same model in black.

Surface Laptop 5 loving it

This is a little powerhouse wow! It was easy to set up, and I'm enjoying using it. So far, no complaints. It has the latest version of Windows, which was a learning curve because I was on Windows 10. It multitasks with ease. I have had three to four windows up with absolutely no issues. I think it's a great buy for the money
