Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 14.4" i7 512GB/16GB (Platinum)

I am a student and I was planning to get a MacBook but my degree has softwares that isn’t compatible with the MacBook so I went with this laptop! This laptop is amazing! I never thought I needed a touch screen laptop until I used this one! I’ve had this laptop for about 2 weeks and haven’t had any issues with it. The quality of the screen and the three viewing angles are also perfect. I can even run valorant smoothly on this laptop with low settings. The aesthetics of this laptop is also great! The only bad thing is this laptop is kind of heavy but the pros outweighs the cons. Best buy!!

A Creative Dream! 3in1 with power to do it all

Full laptop for work & play. It does it all. Tablet & Pen, to be creative, switch to laptop for all MC office and great typing sturdiness. Then half flip for browsing the web without having to hold a heavy device as it stand itself up on the perfect angle no matter where you are. The power to run multiple applications like Lightroom and photoshop. Slim line but great screen size without being too big. The screens brightness and resolution is fantastic even for photo editing, especially considering it’s a full touch screen. It is heavy for a tablet but well weighted for a laptop. The magnetic pen charger and holder is a great feature. The only downside is needing a USBC port or dock if you need the old USB ports or card reader. Very happy with this laptop!

Almost Flawless

I absolutely love this laptop, very versatile and functional for all my design programs. Battery life is where it fails in my experience - 20% down every 30mins of active use - 2.5hrs total! Far from the advertised 18hr battery life, I get that also includes inactive use but seriously, not even 3hrs of actual use?! Highly frustrating!

Amazing for Graphic Design

Fast and high performance, perfect for graphic designers.Allows use of Microsoft Pen and has a magnetic strip tucked away neatly that the pen snaps over to.Screen feels a bit flimsy at first and takes some getting used to, but after a while it becomes more normal and is so handy for switching to tablet mode or turning into a viewing screen with a stand!

Heat and battery life disappointing

The fan is always on, even if nothing is running. The fans of the device are at the front and side. So you'll get constant hot air blowing on your mouse hand while using it. And the battery life is the most disappointing part. They advertise up to 18hrs. I struggle to get 3hrs. 3hrs life with just lite web surfing (no video, audio, other applications or games) is unacceptable for a such an expensive laptop.The screen is nice, the audio is fantastic and the pen and smoothness when drawing or writing is great. But when you only get to use it for 3hrs, it hurts it usability. Also, the device is very heavy.I think for the price and battery life, it's not worth it.

Micrsoft surface internal fan issue

2 weeks in and overall a good machine. This is the second machine, the first lasted 72hours before the internal fan malfunctioned producing a loud contact/vibration sound.The faulty machine was replaced immediately by JB through the additional warranty that was purchased.JBs assistance was very helpful.

Perfect all rounder, meeting my needs.

This is the perfect all around laptop which suits my home and work needs. It is a bit heavier than the surface laptop 4 which I was thinking about getting. The ability to adjust the screen and use it as a tablet is fantastic and the tactile pencil is a worthwhile addition. At this time I haven’t had any heat issues as stated in some reviews. It feels solid and I imagine will provide me with ongoing reliable use. The sound and front facing cam is amazing.

Perfect for animators and designers

This is a fantastic laptop that is perfect for my work as an animator. It is sleek, solid, powerful, and the versatile screen works extremely well with the Surface Slim Pen 2 (you do not need a separate charger, the Pen charges directly on the laptop). Very happy with this purchase, Microsoft Laptops keep getting better and this is their best one yet.
