I got this for my Surface Go to use One Notes and its great! So easy to write all my university notes in One Notes with the pen and the interchangable tips makes note taking easier. This is my second pen because the orginal pen landed on the tip on floor which stuffed the sensitivity of the pen (became more sensitive to the point the pen is not touching the Tablet but is rendering that it is) Highly recommend for a student using surface go for notes its a must have.

The pens pretty good, but the button/right click button is in a pretty non ergonomic position and is quite hard to click. Other than that, it seems very accurate and responsive, not as good as a Wacom stylus, but still very good.

Drawing/painting is not my area of expertise, but being able to include hand-written things can be useful at times. In the hands of someone who can draw, it can be used to make rather impressive artworks! Not an expensive item when compared to the price of the Surface, and extends what the laptop can do.

After a few years of 'I should buy a surface pen' I have no regrets. PB Tech's web site description and price made my decision easy. A fantastic deal. I have been using the pen at least three times a day since I purchased it a month ago. An essential tool for any surface computer.
I spent a long time researching what stylus would be best for me. I don't use it to draw with, only for note taking, so I wanted something that felt as close to a real pen and paper experience as possible. I looked at the Bamboo ink, as well as the Adonit ink (both cheaper), but finally settled on the Microsoft pen and am pleased I did. It works great with my Surface Go. No lag or jitter at all. I highly recommend it!
The select button is hard to click and the pen is a bit slippery in hand. Other than those 2 points I really enjoy using it.
Our youngest was undertaking some online leaning which necessitated writing on the screen of her Surface Go. The finger works, but not easily. We decided to bite the bullet and get the Surface Pen. So glad we did. It makes not only writing, but general navigation much easier. And, of course, the 12 year old is now a master after just a couple of days. The magnet attachment to the side of the screen is inspired - because, let’s be honest, kids lose things! Takes batteries which is great. Will be interesting to see how long they last.
Great product for the Surface Laptop 4. Easier than using the mouse functions for everyday use.
I use my surface pen in my online classes to annotate on my screen in PowerPoint, word & pdf docs.. I can do what I normally do on my whiteboard online with my classes. With my pen I correct my students word or pdf assignments and email back to them ASAP saving heaps of time. The pen has heaps of features that make using my surface even more interactive.
