The three stainless steel grease filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher to retain their stunning appearance, and the Miele CleanCover shield behind the grease filters allows for easy cleaning while protecting the internal components. This rangehood includes a safety switch-off function, meaning that the rangehood will automatically switch itself off after an unusual amount of operating time. After cooking, the fan can be set to run for an additional 5 or 15 minute period to clear the room of any remaining odours. Once set, the filter indicator will let you know when the filter is saturated and requires replacement.
