Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Coil Sculpting Custard 12 oz

I absolutely love this brand of products. They retail from 6.99 to 12.99 depending on sales and location you buy. I usually purchase online from their site. You can find them at Target, Ulta and I think Walmart. Don’t hold me to that last one. These products cater to all hair types but some are specific to curl patterns. I have a type 3c pattern. This product works lovely on my hair and it smells soooo good. I apply it to my damp hair after I shower. Detangled hair works best. Part it in four sections and be generous with application of the product. I use a curl brush with wide bristles to distribute evenly. Once I’m done, I twist my hair in several sections all over. A real curl juicer !!!

This is the one!!! It juices my coils better than any other product for 4 grade hair! However be warned not to use this with any other leave in product that is a cream. It curdles and flakes badly if you do! You must use it after a rinse out condition and nothing else but a scalp oil. Again, no cream products should be used with this. Once you follow this, you're going to have well greased coils!A bit oily to the touch as it is a very heavy product so consider this when you're planning your style.

Amazing stuff

This thing is like mana from heaven! What is this wonderful elixir. It took my hair and turned it into something so beautiful I didn’t know I had that hair. My hair made beautiful coils! It was soft! It was shiny! It lasted a week! I did nothing to it and the curls stayed! I’ve been natural for 7 years and never ever with all the stuff I’ve tried ever had this result! I saw in on TikTok for a Black Friday sales and decided to try and now I’m hooked! I bought the entire line! I am very very very pleased. Go buy it!!

Best curl product! High porosity type 3c/4a hair

I love all of mielles products and creams for my daughter curls ! But this product is hands down the best thing I have tried ! The top half of her hair doesn’t curl as well. So with creams I have to really work it in. This custard instantly defined every strand ! Helped to retain moisture and her hair stayed perfect the next morning!!! Smells great. Light feeling! Tiny bit of flakes the next day but it did recommend applying the leave in first I will try it. I just sprayed a tiny bit of water next morning and flakes were gone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I love all of mieles products for mine and my daughters hair and we have very different curl patterns/porosity.

Bouncy & defined for days!! (With proper care)

I discovered the Mielle sculpting custard about a year ago and let me tell you I will never go back!! I have 2B-2C curls and this is my holy grail 😍 directions say it works best on damp/towel dried hair I believe. And that's exactly what I do! After I wash and hand dry my hair with an old tee I'll put oil in, then leave in conditioner, and then a moderate to generous amount in before I denman brush curl my hair into casts and plop! The first time I used it I just scrunched it in and that worked very well too! Don't let how it dries shock you, it dries kind of hard/crunchy, but once your hair is 100% dry you can break up the curls and you will have the bounciest, most delicious smelling curls!! Total game changer. And for the price?! Just get it, you won't regret it!!

Coil Sculpting Custard is a MUST

I use this product along with Mielle's leave in and hair gel. Because I have very fine hair, I find that I need something that hardens my hair when it dries but then scruches (aka scrunch the crunch) out and leaves my hair super soft and without any flakes. The product is a smooth jelly like texture and while it does give th4 impression that it is going to have a heavy & sticky feel when adding it in but once it dries, the product feels light and does not weigh my hair down. There is no sticky feeling, my hair is soft and boucy and as always, smells great. Most of all, this gives my curls LOTS of definition and less frizz, which is a real challenge for me. It's one of my must haves and one of their products that I use daily.

Great definition and shine

I am new to the natural hair and this is my first time trying Mielle products on my hair. This custard is the first product I purchased and is the first time I used a custard. It provides wonderful definition and shine that lasts for about three days. I only spray a little water on it to reactivate and loosen my curls. However you must apply a sufficient amount of oil before applying the custard to avoid flaking. I only applied a little oil and sure enough I had flaking. Also my hair felt a little dry at the end of the week, but I'm sure that will change after my hair gets used to this product and once I use the entire collection. I just purchased the leave in conditioner so I'll see if that helps with the dryness and flaking as well.

LOVE IT AND WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT

I recently asked my aunt to purchase the pomegranate and honey shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, honey coil sculpting custard, and the co-wash, and my mom and I are obsessed. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair look and feel healthy and it moisturized and cleaned my hair thoroughly. After coming out of the shower my hair was detangled and healthy. My mom used the leave-in conditioner on my hair before twisting it and she used the honey coil sculpting custard and 2 other products to twist my hair. Frizzyness used to be very visible in my hair but now it barely showed. Love how this makes my hair pop

I waited to put this is in after putting it to the test. I was looking for products for a wash and go. I am loving these products for that!!!! I wash my hair,conditioned and applied the products according to the directions listed. My curls were popping,and then when I woke up the next day,they were still gorgeous and defined. My hair was moisturized and livin. After a while I wanted to see what would happen using it for a twist out,in unwashed hair. It was softly defined and gorgeous. I used this and the curl smoothie together.

Multiple tests

At first when I used this product, I came in heavy handed and it was flake central. But the smell was too good that I did not want to give up on it!. So second time around I read the instructions and purchased the additional products outlined to avoid flakes to test. I used the oil and the leave in and I had no issues with flakes which was great. I didn’t waste money since I got the results I wanted, right?. Well the scent of the almond and mint oil was actually too strong and overpowered the main reason I purchased this product, the scent. I didn’t want to smell like mint. I wanted that sweet floral scent. So I gave this test another round and found that I can experience little flakes with just the leave in conditioner!.
