I got this jacket over a year ago, I was a bit hesitant at first but I wore my friend's one as he is a sales rep and was selling these jackets. As soon as I tried it on I signed up for it! No regrets, perfect for very, very cold weather, It keeps you nice and toasty. It's also good in summer - just don't turn it on in summer :)

In general, nice jacket. The point however is to have a heated, warm jacket. sleeves are not insulated, not warm. Back is only heated at the top, front right covers a good area but the left does not, very small spot of heat. turn the pockets on and you will have some heat at the bottom. Lasts 2 hours on highest setting with pockets on. if you're buying this because you work outside and want heat, don't waste your money. Costs 170 but the battery is 105 on top of that. Good jacket for in the shop.

I placed an online order. I was quite disappointed with the warming capability in that only the right half of only the back side warmed gently. There was no heat on the front and the hand pocket did not heat at all even after 20 minutes of turning the battery on. Once outside, at 0 degrees, the little heat escaped quickly and it felt like any other jacket. Looking at reviews online, I am inclined to think that perhaps I was sent a defective unit. I was contemplating requesting a simultaneous replace and return but the process of doing so, was seemingly cumbersome so will only return. In future, I would prefer an option to try on a working unit in store, specially for this cost, prior to purchase.

I purchased this jacket because I was tired of playing the "layers game" every winter. Although everyone touts the durability of their product, I'm inherently hard on my work clothes; so, I couldn't justify spending $200 on a jacket that might not last one season. However, now that I'll be doing more finish-work, I felt it was safe to take the plunge and get 'one coat to replace them all'. After reading all the reviews I easily decided to go with the Milwaukee. Besides, I already used their system of M18 tools so this worked out well. Pros: The 'look' is amazing; but more on this later... The fit is spot on. I'm 5' 10", 230 Lbs., muscular build. The sleeves come down enough to overlap with my gloves, but not too far to get in the way. The back of the jacket is ... The sleeves come down enough to overlap with my gloves, but not too far to get in the way. The back of the jacket is longer than the front which is ideal, if you're not into the European or biker styles. The material seems to be as durable as they make it out to be. I haven't taken a nail or sanding paper to it; but, it seems to resist snagging and the stitching appear to well done. The liner is a little clingy - depending on what type of shirt your wearing - but its warm serves its purpose. The battery placement is good. It's out of the way when lifting items and squeezing into tight spots. One nice feature is that you can route cords inside the jacket. So a USB cable and headphones can be routed to the same pocket, all without being exposed to the exterior of the jacket. Cons: The exterior chest pocket is not big enough to comfortably fit a large smartphone (I use the Note 5), which would have been my preferred location to store my phone. Conclusion: The design and practicality are almost exactly what I was looking for. Now that I have it, I think it would easily stand up to a harsh work environment and could be a stand-alone solution. It has nice touches that I didn't even know I wanted. Which brings me to my conclusion that this is a great jacket, but it's completely useless on the jobsite; because I wouldn't think about wearing this thing on a dirty, messy, dangerous construction site. It's simply too nice to risk being damaged or stained. From the first time I wore it out, and got complement after compliment, I realized that this belongs in my closet, not in my work clothes pile. I've even since names it "Jackee" and gone back to my layered approach of staying warm on the jobsite. I suppose I could buy another one that I would only wear on the jobsite...
I just bought this the other day and was able to test it out today working in the yard on a cold rainy day. For sizing I went with the medium and the fit is good. I usually like a large to give me.a bit of room but the sales person at home depot suggested the medium so the jacket is a little snugger to the body making the heating elements more effective. I'm glad she did because I felt if it was looser the elements would not be as effective. I had the setting on high for the jacket only and it lasted just under 2 hours. The jacket alone is very warm but with the heating it's even better. I will be using it working outside but will using it at the ice rink where I spend a lot of time with my 2 boys playing 3-4 times a week each. Great jacket so far and glad I ... Can't comment on the durability but it does look week constructed and built to last.
This jacket is amazing. I'm the type of guy that researches every possible aspect of a product before buying. I'm very picky and not easily impressed. I sit around in this jacket all day. I'm never burning up when I wear it inside, and the second I heat it up and walk outside, im never disappointed. The material is comfy and the jacket doesn't feel bulky. I love the pockets and the electronics friendly design. I'll definitely be buying the m12 2.0 battery and car adapter for it (plug jacket into cigarette lighter, and endless heat so I can drive my Jeep all winter with the top off)
After having a medical issue and loosing 80 pounds, I am cold all the time. I hate it. I thought I would try this jacket to see if it was any good. Well I am pleased to say I love it. I am impressed at how long the battery lasts and am not as cold as I used to be. Being a Milwaukee product, the quality is great as expected. I do think they are a bit pricey but I found a great bargain so I took advantage of it. In the research I did about the competition, I find them to be expensive.
I bought this product as a gift for my husband. This was the best choice I could have made. The heated jacket is easy to operate, quick to learn. If you know someone who hates to wear a coat but doesn't like to be cold this is the answer. The idea you have 3 heat settings makes the jacket even better. I almost forgot to mention you can also charge your cell phone while wearing this jacket. I say good bye to all those heavy coats and hello to heated heaven. My only regret is I didn't get one for myself at the same time.
Not satisfied with my purchase at all. The charger went out after a few months. It was refurbished or replaced (not sure which) under the warranty and now, three months later it's out again. Mind you I've only been using this battery and charger as a cell phone charger during that time because it's been summer. The battery is now junk along with the charger. I have serious doubts that the coat is going to hold up. Customer service is rude and not helpful. I am a contractor so I buy a lot of tools. Every Milwaukee power tool I've bought in the last two years has failed. They used to be my brand of choice but I'd say save your money and go with dewalt, at least they stand by their products!
The fit is true to american clothing, important! You use your own battery packs, the small ones otherwise they are too much bulk and weight. But it heats up fast and there are multiple settings to use. You can use it as an outer coat as it looks very sharp, I chose the red one for visibility. Or you can use it as an inner coat and put a liner over it. This would help keep the heat in. I live in Iowa where the winter temps can get to -20 F easily with wind and this helps fight it. Winning! Find the best deal and get one.
