I've been using this product for a fair bit. Its a nice tool to hold although it can feel a bit cumbersome at times. My main pet peeve is that the guard gets in the way, especially when cutting smaller pieces. Apart from that it's been good.

I bought this as an upgrade to my Parkside circular saw, which was surprisingly good but had very limited battery life. The Milwaukee uses the same batteries as the drill and thus a bare unit worked well. saw is good for straight cuts and bevels and with the guide I managed to cut a 5 metre plank in half lengthwise. the built in light is good for seeing exactly where the blade is going and the notch at the front can be lined up for longer cuts. i miss the Parkside's laser! Manual is a bit Ikeaish but does come in a couple of dozen languages.

I like the tool though the blade change Allen key falls out of its onboard storage slot & the supplied guide is cheap n nasty. The saw will make nice straight cuts with the supplied blade, but with no laser & a nasty guide this wont be my saw of choice unless its for a quick job or away from easy mains power. The saw itself feels quite robust and has a good amount of power with a 5ah battery, but for the money its got loads of competition, I would have bought a different brand but I have quite a few m18 batteries for my other tools, sadly though more powerful than the budget brands its not a cut above all others in its price range
This is my second m18ccs55 the first one unfortunately developed a fault early on but was intermittent foolishly I didn't get it repaired but as time went on it was not worth getting it out of the box the issue was that it would work ok I'd put it down and a minute later it was dead the work light came on but that's all it might not work then for a few day Silly me I didn't take it for repair until the one year warranty had run out (I didn't register so no three year warranty) "fool" When I was in the repair shop another guy there was having the same issue Having said all this when it worked it was great lots of power but you will need at least a 5ah battery power needs power Why have I bought another ? Admittedly, I've come from using a Ryobi 18V circular saw and this saw is about twice the price. However, the difference in power and performance is well worth the extra cost. It's lightweight (although a bit heavier than the Ryobi) and very robust. Battery life seems good as well. If you want a quality tool that's a pleasure to use, don't go for a cheap option - buy one of these.
Powerful tool but not sure about the quality this time, not working after 3weeks we brought it. But other Milwaukee products we owned still are good quality, efficient
Th3 safety guard around the blade is poorly designed and struggles to retract in any but the simplest of cuts. The blade jams when cutting wet wood, no guts
