This is truly a gem. It has more power than i expected, and the small package lets me get in close quarters on large machinery where I'd normally have to grab a ratchet and socket. It has earned its spot in the top of the tool box for sure. Someone was really thinking when they designed this and put the lights where they did as i don't need a flashlight hanging out of my mouth much anymore. I keep it set at its lowest setting until i hit about 1.2" or so. really remarkable piece of tool, I love it!

I love this 'little' 3/8" impact wrench! I have the big, heavy 1/2" brother of this one with about 1100 ft-lbs of torque. I definitely don't need that much fastener torque for the majority of my automotive work. I wanted something much more compact and something that could be used with smaller impact sockets. My 1/2" impact socket set goes down to 9mm. My 3/8" impact socket set ranges from 17mm down to 7mm and I plan on using this smaller, lighter impact wrench for the majority of the automotive work I do. I really like how the two lowest settings have approx 20ft-lbs and 60ft-lbs of torque. These are great starter torque settings before getting out my torque wrench for the final torque setting.

I used one of these at a snowmobile club I'm in and was thoroughly impressed. So I bought one. So far I have just used it to remove and put back on a UTV tire, but it removed the lug nuts like a champ. Reinstalling I used the "auto" setting so that the wrench stops when it feels resistance. So it works great when you have a lot of thread, but still want to torque a nut (or in my case lugnuts) to a certain level. I decided to go all in so I have purchased a pole saw and a leaf blower too. I already had some M12 Milwaukee tools and just bought a stapler, screw driver and 3/8 ratchet in M12 too. I like that the chargers now have both M12 and M18 charging ports.

I used one of these short guns at my shop one of my employees had. I was impressed at the spots I can get in and the torque this little monster had.I enjoy snapping rusty bolts and and working the snot out of this gun and it just keeps going and going...Battery last a long time has the same power no matter what stage of battery life I'm at.So thanks again milwaukee tool for making another impact that puts snap on notice!
A must have for any mechanic. As we all know every little bit of space counts when it comes to working around the car. A couple milimiters is the difference between a quick bolt removal or turning the project into a whole day ordeal. Pair the impact wrench with a set of stubby impact sockets and you're looking at a total depth of 5-1/4". The compact size is just perfect for getting into all sorts of nooks and crannies. The wrench has plenty of torque and has no issues breaking loose the bolts I've thrown at it. The auto stop feature is honestly where the tool shines. No longer do I have to worry about stripping threads or over torquing anything, as the tool with automatically hand tighten bolts, allowing me to come back and finish the job with a proper torque wrench.
I have wanted one of these for ever and never could justify it. I just recently got a job that this would come in handy. I want to love it, great power, break loose torque, lightweight. But idk if it is just the one I bought but the friction ring will not keep any socket on. As soon as you tip it any direction except flat they fall off if you aren’t holding it with your finger. I have to assume they are not all like this but for the cost I’d expect a little better quality.
This thing is like a wolverine. Tiny but powerful. It has 4 modes to choose from for speed and/or power. The 4th mode is what I use when swapping snow tires up here in Northern Michigan. In the 4th mode it will do full power (about 250ft-lbs) in reverse but has an auto-shut on when in forward if it senses 20 or more ft-lbs. I always snug my lug nuts by hand and then give it about 2 uggah duggahs just to keep the rim on and squared up until I can put the rest of the lugs nuts on and then get a torque wrench on the. Both my wife and my car only require 100 ft-lbs for our rims. This thing has no problem at all breaking them free after a long winter. Super happy with this tool!

Even more than my ratchet, of course there are still situations where the ratchet is necessary. The power output is more than adequate and really outright impressive. I have used this to successfully replace control arms and rusted shock mount boots. My truck lug nuts are torqued to 150 foot pounds and this removed them with ease.
