Milwaukee 3497-22 - M12 FUEL 2-Tool Combo Kit

WOW, i did not think a 12v would have the performance of my 18volt tools. I am one of those people who are between brands. I have the old 19.2v craftsman tools. Which still work well, but they are out of production, so I needed to make a change. I also needed a solution for my dremel that just died. Since the dremel had a proprietary battery, I didn't want to go that route again. I also didn't want to be tied to a cord.Enter in the Milwaukee m12 lineup. Not only do they have the dremel, they also had a die grinder and I had to try the impact and hammer drill. Needless to say, I am pleasantly surprised. These are small and compact, yet they pack a huge punch. I find myself going for these tools instead of my 18v tools.I don't think anyone can touch the m12 line, ... MoreWOW, i did not think a 12v would have the performance of my 18volt tools. I find myself going for these tools instead of my 18v tools.I don't think anyone can touch the m12 line, there are so many options and these are just good tools. I find myself browsing the Milwaukee website or Home Depot, to find another tool I want.I am really happy with their products, can't say enough. Now that Milwaukee has shown me how well their products are made, I am most likely going to go with the m18 as well, whenever I can save up some money. They have totally made up my mind on which tool company to go with now, because of the performance I have seen out of the m12 lineup. If you are on the fence, just go for it, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Milwaukee

I have been using the M12 system since it came out. I ran into a Mil rep at a store and he explained to me the advantages of the brushless products. This lead to my first brushless kit to replace an existing drill and driver (drill is still going). A butane torch exploded and burned my tool bag. The driver was pretty melted but the drill despite some war wounds still functions like a champ. I bought this et to replace the dead driver and not so dead drill. I will probably never shift from M12 for day to day use. I have these these tools wet, cold , extremely hot, and have flat out beat on them. In my opinion the best in their class. Very happy, except for the tool bag inferno.

Great combo set. I have used both the drill and impact and they are both very light and work well around the house, especially in hard to reach areas. They are so light that I feel less fatigued after using one for an extended period of time. I was surprised by how much power they have for being an M12 tool. They have more power than some 18V tools I have from other brands. This set was my first foray into 12V tools and I'm glad I picked Milwaukee because the tools feel very well made and I can tell they will last a very long time. I only wish that they offered an M12 combo kit with the Hammer Drill/Driver and Surge Impact Driver. That would be perfect!
