I think people often buy products without really knowing what the intended use of the item is. With that being said, I read many negative reviews about how the tumbler leaks when you wheel it on your PACKOUT carts, and yes, the lid is not leak proof but it is also not advertised as being leak proof. I may be wrong but when I read the product description I couldn't find that it was leak proof. Is the tumbler meant to be locked onto your PACKOUT system and wheeled onto the job site? I don't think it was meant for that either but I could be wrong. If your tumbler is full of coffee and you are wheeling it around at a 45 degree angle, you will get coffee on your gear. I feel like it was meant to be used where you can secure it to your PACKOUT stack so that it won't get ... MoreI think people often buy products without really knowing what the intended use of the item is. The lid slides open and closed and there are magnets in place to keep it opened or closed. The sliding part of the lid is easily removable so that you can get a nice clean on the lid. Overall I feel like the tumbler is well made and comparable to the best tumblers on the market and since I love all things Milwaukee, it's my go to tumbler!!

See my 20oz reviewWorks good enough i suppose. The lid needs to be redesigned to not leak (they leak very much so with hot liquids, not so much with cold liquids) and redesigned so the lid does not spray / splash residual liquids when closed (the lid traps liquids around the closing part so when it snaps close, it splash liquids all over the place... not a big deal when out in the field, but a big no-no in my truck or at home).keeps hot liquids hot to warm for about ~4 hours, after 4 hours its room temp. And it will keep ice for at least ~14 hours (i ended my experiment around 14 hours on the ice, but there was still a lot of ice left in it).Works well with the packout system, but could use improvement on the insulation & complete redesign of the lid. - ... MoreSee my 20oz reviewWorks good enough i suppose. This is one tough travel mug. Keeps my drinks very cold for a long time. It is also tough as nails. Dropped it a few times and it still looks new. Also, the base size is perfect to fit older vehicle cup holders. As an auto parts jobber, I keep mine at work to show it to customers, and have had some great comments on it's looks. Will probably be selling a bunch of these!

I'm a contractor in Florida and as we know Florida gets hot this Tumblr is better than the yetis I've owned I didn't think it would be but it actually holds ice twice as long I don't know about hop beverages cuz I don't drink hot beverages.I do not think it is made to hook to your pack out system and then tip your pack out system to wheel it around of course it's going to leak. When I'm on the job and I'm working I put it in a pack out top and it does not get spilled if it gets hit it will not knock over as long as it's in locked place.I bought the red ones when they came out and now I'm buying the black ones very happy with it I've been a huge Milwaukee fan since I started construction in the early '70s still have Milwaukee metal housing tools that are still working.
I was quite disappointed in this cup, I expected so much more from Milwaukee after having purchased so many of their other products. It does not seal very well on the lid so if it drops quite a bit came out when compared to my Yeti. I also wasn't impressed with the longevity of keeping my tea hot. Again in comparison to a Yeti (similar price point) it was a distant second. I do not recommend this product unless you need it to twist into a pack out system which doesn't seem like a thing that will be overly used by the majority
I use this cup everyday since I have gotten it, 2 weeks ago. Like the larger capacity over my last insulated cup. It keeps my coffee warm a little longer but not really. Like the spin top lid to remove to clean. But it's not spill proof. It's gotten knocked over and lost coffee. Trying to decide if I really want to keep it. Thinking of returning it. I really like my insulated coffee cup to be spill proof. Will update if I return it.
It keeps your coffee warm, not hot, but the bigger problem is the lid sprays a fine mist of coffee everywhere every time is snaps shut. Coffee builds up on the lid, and then when the sliding cover swings shut it spays coffee everywhere. After a week of using this my steering while was covered in coffee spots. I tried the other size one and it was just as bad.FWIW, I use all Milwaukee everything. I'm fully committed to the whole modular packout system, and I loved the idea of a mug that wouldn't fall off my tool box if I snapped it on, but this ain't it.
Having collected a bajillion different tumblrs over the years and dreading getting anymore, I have changed my mind for the Milwaukee Packout tumblr. I find myself reaching for these everyday instead of any others. I haven't tested with hot beverages, but ice tea stays cold all day. I have accidentally left my drink laying around over the weekend and came back to find ice at the bottom of it two days later. The top is convenient to open and close the drink hole. It's held closed by a magnet. It can leak a tiny bit but I don't really put it though any rough experiences like some people. I'm not trying to ride a horse at full gallop while keeping my drink safe inside the tumblr - it just sits in a vehicle cup holder or on a workbench. It does great! I have twisted it into the top of a packout and it fits perfectly. That might be a bonus for some, just a novelty for me, though. Overall, I really like the few that we have bought so far.
I am a very on-the-go person and I typically work longer hours. This cup keeps any drink hot or cold throughout the day, at least to an enjoyable temperature. Its easy to clean, and holds up against drops. The magnetic lid system can trap some liquid in it after drinking but for me, that really isn't an issue. Even though this tumbler is of a larger size, it still fits in standard cup holders which is a plus.
wow used for the first time today and definitely returning. such a horrible design. the outside part of the lid has a seal but the cover for the drink hole does not so when you twist it into your packout and wheel it around at an angle half of your drink spills out. second the locking mechanism barely works fell out on me multiple times so if it's in the back of a vehicle you can't trust it to stay in 0lace and with the leaky lid if it does fall your drinks going everywhere. terribly 5hought out product you think paying the hefty price tag they would have at least put some thought into it.
