Milwaukee 48228425 - Packout Large Tool Box

Great combination of boxes! I saw the other offer which contained a crate as part of the combo but for the small difference in price this outfit works well. Incredibly happy with the trays and small parts containers that come as standard equipment. I added the medium storage organizer and 1/2 size box with hole saws to finish things off. I told a couple of friends about the offer and they both ordered one. Everyone I talked to about the set is very happy.

Addictive Organization at its best

The Milwaukee Packout system is hands down the BEST tool storage system on the market in my opinion. Initially I chose Milwaukee solely on thier Tool and battery platform for automotive applications...as it turns out it is a decision I have never regretted as this company is so much more.in this system everything has a purpose and every detail is well thought out. Best toolbox of its kind, very sturdy even when loaded

This is an expensive, but high quality, toolbox. Has a higher weight rating than most, 75 lbs. Very solidly constructed, should last forever unless it sits out in the open, in the back of your truck day and night (nature is a harsh master, will eventually weaken plastics, even high quality ones). If it has to live there, cover it with a tarp and that will help. Water resistant, not waterproof per the mfr; it should stand up to rain, but not immersion. I would have given five stars, but Im using it as part of the modular PACKOUT system, and when its weighted down by tools, its a bit difficult sometimes for me to remove it from the rolling toolbox below, just because of the mechanism. Buy in is pricey, but worth it in the long haul.

Great piece of kit. I initially thought these were too pricey to really justify, but after laying hands on the system and trying it out, I can say these are great. The options and modular nature make the system. I have the base plates in several of my rigs and I grab the boxes I need for the job and reconfigure as needed. It all clips and locks together so I dont need straps, and has held up great so far. I will be buying a couple of the XL boxes as well to round out my packing plan.

Large packout box

This is a great tool box system! I also have the rolling box, and i have a smaller packout box that came with their impact driver. Its great that they all interlock. I can't always be close enough to where I'm working, so this brings everything i need, right where i need it! The many options, and upgrades with the packout system make it superior to any other " name brand". Milwaukee packout is also rugged and can take a beating, where as; other's can not. I highly recommend it

MILWAUKEE IS THE BEST

Buying Milwaukee tools is the way to go for your power tools and your handtools. And the pack out system helps keep everything organized nice neat dry clean and proper condition for when you get ready to go to your job site. I wish I would have done this10 years ago. Using the Milwaukee products let you keep your things separate from the other equipment on site. Most of the jobs it we go on people using the black and yellow products. So Im guys are getting very reason mixed up but most of the time I am the only person on site with the Milwaukee red RED ... I have the M 18 and I am 12 systems. If you have something that is not requiring a lot of torque and power of the M 12s are perfect their light and has enough power for small jobs. Milwaukee Tool box holds a lot of gear

I'm using the Milwaukee Packout tool box to store miscellaneous tools but the tool tray keeps the smaller wrenches, pliers and screw drivers organized up top. Roomy and strong box with a hefty handle that locks the lid closed if one forgets to latch the box. Easy to link up with all the other Packout boxes.

The Best! With a Secret!

The large tool boxes are my favorite next to the drawers in the Packout lineup. Why it’s my favorite is because of the multiple ways to carry it. Especially the foldable handle that pops into place. And for those who don’t know or don’t have one, yet, the handle popping up into place means two things!1: The handle is in the upright most position and is ready to be hauled away.2: The secret feature! The click also means that the top of the tool box has been locked in place and is ready to be hauled and moved and shaken about, even without the buckles being secured! There is a locking mechanism that is put into place when the handle is being used! Works Great For This Mobile Service Tech

This is a very versatile and heavy duty toolbox. I'm a mobile service tech, servicing industrial equipment (forklifts, aerial lifts, specialty equipment) and I use this as my main toolbox. The box comes with one tool tray like pictured, but I have a second one in it that had come with my rolling packout base. I use my packout base to hold my everyday chemicals and oil mats, then I use this box to house my sockets, voltmeter, screwdrivers, pliers and specialty tools that I use a lot. Then I throw the packout crate on top for all my miscellaneous extra things I might need like parts, tools, etc. I wish it was just a touch lighter, but I will gladly put up with the extra weight in order to have a rigid and rugged tool box. This definitely fits the bill for me.
