I’m super impressed with this wrench. It was made to withstand a beating while performing its job perfectly. This wrench is just like a breaker bar with the added features of a locking neck and a ratcheting head. I love the locking neck, it makes things so much easier when working; I can put a lot of force on the handle and not worry about slipping because the wrench changes its angle. And the fact it is ratcheting saves a lot of time. I’m happy with the length too. Overall, this is an awesome wrench; I recommend it highly.

This is an amazing ratchet that will last many years. What I like the best about this one is the rachet head can pivot for those hard to reach places. The cars are becoming so cramped with space that I need one of these. Even for something as simple as changing a serpentine belt, the pulley could not be in a worse place, difficult to get from the top or the bottom. With this ratchet I can pivot the head to allow me just enough room to avoid the other pulleys and being 18 inches long I can get the turns I need with the short 4 degree of swing. Locking the head in place is extremely beneficial, I have other ones that do not lock and drives me crazy trying to get the force to go to the nut / bolts. With thus one locked in place it makes it much easier to control, heck ... MoreThis is an amazing ratchet that will last many years. Great deal for a locking head swivel ratchet with a really nice fine tooth head. My only complaint is i would like it better if the handle didn't have the flat spot on it, although it fits my cheater pipe great

I started out changing out my serpentine belt on my F-150. I tried doing it from the top but I have short arms and could not reach the belt and use the ratchet at the same time. So I jacked up the truck put on stands and went underneth it. This way I was able to use the ratchet and reach the belt with my other hand. Any way there is so much in the way on this truck. I could barely get to the tensioner. But with the flex head on the 1/2" ratchet and a short extenion I was able to get to it and move it enough to remove the belt. Then I tried to put a new belt on but could not reach from the bottom to the top pulleys. So I put as much as I could from top to bottom. then back underneth again using the flex head to get to the tensioner then slipping the belt on the ... The ratchet flex head made this possible for me. I like the way the head locks in place with the slide lock and then the head is attached to the handle with a allan head bolt much better than a roll pin or just a pin that will work lose. The finish on the ratchet is perfect its easy to hang on too and at 18" long makes it ideal to get to the hard to reach areas. Not counting giving you the extra leverage needed to break lose nuts and bolts. This is very well made and will out last my life time.
My review of the Milwaukee 1/2 in. Drive 18 in. Flex Head Ratchet.Gotta say I love this ratchet. I don't like the "comfort" handles on ratchets. This on is all Chrome and feels great in hand.I usually don't like locking fles heads but this one can be used in the locked or unlocked in position. While the do not advertise teeth count in head this has a good feel to it. Just another good alternative to by tools off the truck.
Milwaukee has great tools, thats no doubt! This wrench is a high quality wrench too. Its feels great in your hands and under pressure. I love the swivel head eapecially for changing my two vehicles between their winter/summer rims and tires as my previous one didnt flex and would literally rub my mud tires on my truck during installation and removal. This ratchet does awesome at giving me the clearance needed to tighten and loosen the lugs. It has a lock feature for the swivel. Once you find the angle you want you simply turn the lock on and it is amazingly sturdy at an angle. The top “on/off” is to allow you to put a socket on and off the ratchet. However, their is no clockwise/counter-clockwise option to loosen or tighten bolts/lugs/nuts excetra. I dont know how ... MoreMilwaukee has great tools, thats no doubt! I dont know how it is a “ratchet” then when you have to switch directions of operating it yourself manually which is why I gave it 4 stars. Its more like a swivel breaker bar.
The head of the ratchet is offset from the handle. The head rubs the handle as it pivots. This is the first Milwaukee tool that I have seen this bad of a quality control issue.
This is a much needed upgrade to my old and tired 1/2" ratchet. It is a bit long for my usual needs at 18 inches long but it makes up for it by having a lot of extra material around the ratchet body lending to extra strength. The ratchet mechanism is very smooth and so far doesn't bind up like cheaper ratchets. It won't replace something like a nice snapon or sk tools but it is clearly better made than most.
