I bought this for my birthday in October. I started to wear it end of November. I work as an HVAC tech and I am in and out of mechanical rooms. It did help keep me warm. However, I am sadly very disappointed that Milwaukee would put their name on this. (All my power tools are milwaukee and great quality)I spoke to some people in the trades who have an older model, and the quality is much more durable then the one I bought in comparison. My troubles started end of January when I noticed the stitching coming out of the right arm pit area( I am talking that the whole arm was ready to fall off). Stitching also coming away by one of the pockets. I was outside of the 90 Day return policy with Home Depot and now, it sits at a milwaukee return location to be mailed out and ... MoreI bought this for my birthday in October. Jacket fits well and true to size. Movement very restricted. If it was the same material as the tough shell i would give it 5 stars
I love the look of the jacket; very cool and sharp looking. 5 stars for the look and fitment and if i could rate higher on these things alone i would. However there is some MUCH needed updates.it needs better pockets for sure, especially zippered as the pockets on it outright suck, even the interior one is small. Second, it could use some eleastic cuffs on the end of the sleeves. Third, the hood is of a different material than the rest of the jacket and is not nearly as waterproof which sucks. The body of the jacket is extremely waterproof and the water beads right off so easily which is great. The fit of the jacket is absolutely perfect. Also, the battery pocket is lacking big time compared to the hoodie. Absolutely love my hoodie, everything with the hoodie is perfect but this jacket seems to have less features than the hoodie. If they did these few things it would be spot on. Hood and pockets are my biggest gripes and i debated hard on whether to return it for these reasons but i like the look of it so much and the fitment i decided to reluctantly live with it. If they made a toughshell style jacket but with a waterproof hood i would buy one that day. Fingers crossed they update these things because then it would be amazing.
Battery and charger are a little big in the pocket. Does keep me real warm. It's a good coat.
He will wear it while working in the shop. He loved it and it fit him really good.
I bought this jacket a year or so ago. The battery charger quit working. I lost the receipt from Home Depot. They cant look it up for me because they only go back 6 months from date of purchase. I contacted Millwaukee to see if they would cover it. The serial number on the charger says it was built in 2021 so it is only less than 2 years old. The warranty says 5 years. They wont cover it. Perhaps my last Millwaukee purchase. I just bought 2 cordless M12 drill drivers and would not have if i knew this was their policy. Jim
