This Milwaukee 16 gauge angled nailer is a beast! It easily drove 2” nails into both hickory flooring and oak pallet wood. It’s easily adjustable to manage nail depth in hard or soft woods, so it’s really versatile with no need to set nails afterward. It’s a bit heavy but so worth it to not have to get out the compressor and hoses since this is ready to go in just seconds. One thing to be aware of - it may be obvious but it takes 20 degree angled nails, not the straight nails often used in finish nailers. Convenience and quality you’d expect from Milwaukee!

16 gauge cordless nailer

Used for 2 small jobs now. Seems ok, although I wish they made this is a straight nail format. I did have one issue with a nail miss the intendend exit path from the striker and shot through a spot on the magizine that it shouldn't have, took a fair amount of time to remove. I like the maginzine feeder on the 18gauge better. I think if the nails slid in better this loader would be better. Maybe with time it will wear in better and load better? Still beats draging an air compressor and hose around.

Another great nail gun from Milwaukee

Excellent battery life, even with a smaller 2AH battery, which keeps the setup reasonably light for overhead work. Good depth adjustment, easy to load. I've only put ~500 nails through it, but so far, no jams or complaints.I also use the Milwaukee pin nailer and 18 brad nailer on a regular basis, and some experience with the framing nailer. This fits right between the brad and the framer in all ways, just as you'd expect. The angled configuration is great for trim work.

Excellent nailer. Exactly what I expected.

I already have the 23 gauge pin nailer and 18 gauge brad nailer. The brad nailer is good for most of my purposes (casual woodworker), but I had a project with a lot of base and case to install and needed something with a little more holding power. This nailer works exactly as expected. My only word of warning is make sure you buy the correct nails. 16 gauge nails come in straight and angled. Both straight and angled 16 gauge nail boxes have the same blue 16 gauge logo. I wasn't paying attention and accidentally purchased straight nails. The first nail shot a hole through the bottom of the magazine. With the right nails it works like a charm!

Happy with my purchase

This is my first finish nailer, so I honestly have nothing to compare it to. After many hours of research, I chose this one. I just finished a tongue and groove cypress ceiling, and I am currently working on putting up pine shiplap in a bedroom. The house framing is constructed out of old Dade county pine, built in 1928. If you know anything about that wood, you know it’s extremely dense. It’s like nailing into concrete. That being said, the nailer is performing excellently. Out of several hundred nails, I only had one nail that didn’t set properly. I think that’s because I hit a framing nail in the stud. The battery lasts the whole day, and the nailer is easy to use.

I'm not really a big Milwaukee fan, never have been, they were always more concentrated on the plumbing and electrical trades and only recently turned their attention more towards carpentry specific tools.I am a long time "teal" guy and don't see myself changing anytime soon, but, " I have to admit" when a company launches a superior product! Milwaukee has done just that with their 2nd Gen. battery nail guns! I wouldn't recommend the M18 trim nailer

I'm usually a big fan of Milwaukee tools. I own thousands of dollars worth. But this trim nailer is junk. I switched to Milwaukee from paslode because I thought it was great that I wouldn't need to buy gas cylinders anymore. I made a mistake! The gun is heavy, leaves huge holes to putty and after very little usage I've had nail jam after nail jam. I've spent way too much time trying to clear these jams only to have it jam up again and again. I just switched back to paslode. It was a costly choice but the quality of the nailer is way better, the tool is lighter, and leaves a smaller hole to putty. Usually I'm a die hard Milwaukee tool fan but the last few years I feel the quality has gone downhill tremendously. Milwaukee FUEL outperforms as always

I have been keeping my eye out for these to go on sale or until I really needed one. I work for a commercial site development company that specializes in the installation and repair of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water lines/RPZ, underground utilities, grading and paving. I often times find myself doing odd jobs on the side. I have an extensive collection of Milwaukee M18 and M12 FUEL and regular corded tools (hopefully some MX tools in the future too) I use nearly daily with the site development work. These tools outperform all the other around me. This nailer has once again gone above and beyond my expectations. It feels so comfortable in my hands, like an extension of my hands with its ease of handling and maneuverability. The nonmarring tips do exactly as they should and I really like the onboard storage for the different style ones. The quick release head to clear jams is my favorite feature next to the overall performance of the tool. No matter the brand, you’re going to have a jam here and there, it happens when you work with materials such as wood where hard knots will inevitably be right where you drive a nail. That being said, the quick release head is a game changer. Brad nailers I’ve owned and used in the past always required an allen key to remove the cover of the striker and it’s never a quick or easy task and can result in the lose of the fasteners which hold it together. I can never praise Milwaukee and their tools enough. 10/10 would highly recommend the M18 FUEL 16 gauge angled brand nailer for finish work, especially if you do window and door casings and base or crown that requires sturdier brad nailed. The angled nail magazine makes it fit into those smaller spaces.

Quality Gun

i have been doing interior trim for 10 plus years . My go to gun was always a paselode 16 and 18 . Well not anymore !!!! All guns have there pros and cons , its whether or not you can live them or not . One being the weight of this gun , thought by the end of the day my arm was going to be sore or in discomfort . Nope its been good , not as maneuverable as the paselode but you adapt . i own four 18 gauge cordless brad nailer and eight 16 gauge cordless paselode nailers. Now they will be collecting dust . Very happy with the purchase ,also bought the milwaukee 18 gauge and 23 gauge nailers and need to purchase all three two more times.

Solid tool, but be Discerning in nail choice

Bought this tool for trim and have not been disappointed yet. I read several reviews and was concerned that I saw several examples of the front of the nail magazine well getting blown out. That has not been my experience as I think I chose the correct angle collated nails. I did have two instances of a dry fire due to the nails not being pushed into position by the spring about halfway through a section of collated nails. The gun seems a tad long too but I suspect that's necessary for the firing mechanism Milwaukee designed.
