Over all product is excellent and would have given it 5 stars but the initial screwing together and comprehension of the manual leave a lot to be desired bearing in mind that in my line of work I take things apart and put things together most days without instruction I struggled ! Think Milwaukee need to either re consider there packaging and assembly of this item or re do the assembly manual.

Light weight machine.Has plenty of power for cutting grass around the garden. Works well on my existing 5 ah batteries. I am very well pleased with performance and general operation. No trouble starting unlike my old petrol machine.

Nice and easy to use, a bit heavy for a loop handle and would be much better with a harness. Sadly there is no facility to conect a harness so unless you make one yourself your stuck with the loop.Battery life is reasonable and if you work quickly you can cut a lot on a charge. Very useful tool that's well finished, can feel heavy with no harness conection but balance is good. Delivery from FFX as always was next day and first class.

Works as well as a petrol strimmer, rips through grass,weeds, brambles etc and will cut the hedge as well. Pick it up press the button and off to go. Light weight and well balanced so easy to use. Very impressed with it. Only downside is the batteries soon run out so you need a back up battery for a long strim. I have not needed to use the high speed, the low speed is good enough
Milwaukee tools are generally top notch and this trimmer is no exception. They are expensive but I’ve already got the charger and M18 batteries which helps and I guess you’ve got to ‘pay to play’!
Don't buy this if you want to cut brush or thick weeds. The spec says it has a steel blade but it is a line trimmer and only the line is supplied. I queried this with Screwfix customer service and they confirmed the advert is misleading. I returned it to my local store immediately and received a refund straight away.
Fantastic product I’m really happy with it so far. Has plenty of power on ‘turtle’ mode and the variable trigger is great. I’ve been using a 4.0ah and that’s more than enough to do my front and back garden. The trimmer spool is slightly different from the picture, I’m not sure which one is the new and older version
I tend to buy cordless Milwaukee products based on their quality , performance and compatibility. I was so impressed how easy this Strimmer is to use and setup. I have a ditch at the rear of my property that I normally maintain . It has strong reeds and nettles. Even on tortoise mode this Strimmer performed well. If it got tangled, it was so easy to remove the material without having to remove the head etc.It’s lightweight and well balanced and has now replaced my other petrol Strimmer. Great quality product, strong and well made. I would highly recommend.
The line feed was a bit more complicated than expected. Also, at this level of tool, I'd expect a better line feed mechanism.
Does as it says on the tin, nicely put together. My only reservation is that it needs 3 bolts removed to fold it.
