Costume is huge. Size was 7/8 and fits like 10/12
The quality is about what I expected but not quite worth the price. If my kids didn’t love Minecraft so much and I had any time for diy I wouldn’t have bought it. I got the 4/6 size for my average to tall 5 year old who has just gone through a growth spurt. It is a bit big on my tall 8 year old. The 5 yr old is swimming in it! Good news is that they’ll get more than 1 year’s use out of it (if it survives) and coats and snow pants will fit under it easily.
My son is 6 years old 58lbs and usually wears size 6 small but this was still big in the size small
The quality is great compared to paper thin costumes that plague every parent living in the northwest! They are thick and have great seams. I bought two of these; they are huge! I understand they make your kid look like a box but wow they are big and tall! I have 70% height kids on the growth chart and I'll be hemming both the 4-6 and the 10-12 ones. Don't buy big if you have to put a coat under the costume. It'll fit! My son is 9 and I should have bought the 7-8 size not 10-12. As for my 5 year old daughter we got the 4-6 and I have some sewing to do! Great product though! The kids don't care if they are a little big! They are very happy with them! My son wears a size 5 in Cat & Jack and the size 4-6 costume was way too big on him. He couldn't even walk in it without tripping. The quality is nice and he was sad to return it.
