I’ve been buying this particular brand for some time . It’s been great until recently . Unfortunately, this recent batch is really not good . It looks and tastes like murky water . I believe it’s the suppliers fault and not the sellers . So seller please look into your current batch at hand before dispatching to your customers . I threw my 6 cartons away . I won’t buy this brand anymore .

I received this oat milk as a free gift. I have tried it with Weetabix and in tea and found that it has a nice creamy texture and flavour. It also has not curdled in my tea. In comparison to my usual brand, Oatly, I think it was slightly creamier and had a slightly milder oat flavour, which I preferred. However, although it had the same level of calcium it did not have as many added vitamins. With the current 20% discount the price is about the same. It has left me in two minds which one to choose.

This does a great relatively dense froth which is great for a flat white. It does, like any milk, dairy or not, need to be chilled and the trick is to hold the steam spout just below the surface of the milk. I've tried this as an alternative to my regular barista oat milk because I wanted something Organic. For me, it works and it is not sweet, so your espresso flavour should come through beautifully

I have no idea why you would want to use this in place of milk. If you're lactose intolerant there are great lactose-free milks, and if you are vegan then soy and other options taste far better than this. To me this tasted of absolutely nothing, it was anemic like water. The container is also terrible, the liquid goes everywhere when you pour it - and don't even think about "shaking well" as it advises, you'll just redecorate your kitchen. Maybe its popular with hipsters because of the package design? honestly can't think of anything else that it has going for it... Oh and the container is Tetrapak so can't be recycled kerbside in most local authority areas.
This is a lovely barista oat milk really nice taste and texture. The best I have found, I have tried almost every dairy free barista milk out there and theyre all full of sugar or separate. This one has no sugar and never separates its brilliant in tea coffee hot chocolate all hot drinks never ever had it separate. I will never use anything else now absolutely love the stuff :)
I think we’ve tried them all. Oat milk can be too sweet - not this one. Almond milk can be too, well, almondy. Soya milk varies hugely in quality and taste. And as much as I love coconut, the flavour doesn’t fit with everything. Up to now I have favoured the blended products although you can get a big clump of coconut at the bottom. I feel that the producers are getting somewhere with the Barista versions, and for us this is one of the best. Perfect porridge. Good to drink as it is. Oh, and it made the best cheese sauce, ever.
I'm slightly lactose intolerant, so I try not to have too much lactose-full cow's milk. Lactose-free milk is very, very good (why don't you stock it, A&C?), but I like trying different things. I would never ruin a cup of coffee with anything like this, but it is okay in cereals. It's rather an unappetising colour, however, and it confirms why I would never become a vegan: take the good stuff out of something and you have to replace it with rubbish. You only need three things to make oat milk: water, oats and a pinch of salt. Quick whizz, strain, job done. Why add oil and the other gunk? Interesting to try, but I'll stick with Rude Health, which, although not completely unnecessary-stuff-free, has fewer additives, etc.
Typically use Oatly but like to try new things so I bought this brand. The taste is ok but I like the Oatly better. Where this milk falls short is that it does not foam well at all. No matter how much I try to stretch the milk, it just comes out flat and watery. I’ve done 3 cartons and same results. Bad batch maybe? Not buying again.
This was a freebie: I usually use fresh semi-skimmed, but am amenable to any product that tastes better than long life milk.Texture wise, this is vastly superior to the milk substitutes on sale a decade or more back.Taste wise, however, it is sweet. I don't think this would be a problem for those who have sugar or flavoured syrups in coffee, but for those of us who really dislike a lingering sweet flavour, I'm afraid it is not suitable.Interestingly, there is no mention of other uses beyond adding to cereals, which suggests that it doesn't work with savoury dishes.
I've been drinking oat milk for years, and I've used brands whilst abroad too. Personally, I think Minor Figures Organic Barista is the best around and have even converted my dairy-drinking parents onto it - WINNER!Silky, flavoursome and not over-powering, doesn't leave a residue on your palette nor is it too "watery". The range for this independent company has developed over the years, and I also praise their ideology behind their "brand" and their ethics. It's made in the UK with the oats being supplied from the UK as much as possible, and northern Europe otherwise.Champion all round!
