I purchased this as a recommendation from a poodle club. It came highly recommended for grooming poodles. My Poodle boy is only 9 weeks old and Im using a comb as he doesnt like the harshness of the brush. I will definitely use it when hes older when hes use to being groomed.
It takes off the loose hair quite nicely. Not so good for thicker slightly tangled spots. It is a little sharp, but that is the nature of slickers.
Penetrates my poodles' coats well. Bristles have covered ends so don't stab.
My groomer recommended this brush for my poodle. It works much better than the other slicker brush you get in store at Walmart and my dog isnt scared of it, so it must not be pulled at his skin as much. Sometimes hard to clean the hair out though.
My dog looks great! I have tried many other combs and brushes over the years my search is over. My dog have tight curls and wavy fur. It has never been softer and it works great

I am so glad I ordered this Brush! I have a darling 1-year old Persian kitty with lots of beautiful hair. Now she absolutely loves for me to leisurely brush her. It does such a great job and leaves her hair feeling so soft and fluffy. The price of this brush made it very affordable for my budget. She and I will now have many happy brushing sessions together for many years to come.
