First, this is a great looking club. I changed out the custom fit shaft from my previous driver (TSi2), did some trial and error on the head settings and hitting this driver longer, straighter and much more consistent. For me, an excellent choice and I think a much underrated driver. If you like a more muted sounded in your driver, and great performance, a driver well worth taking a look at in my opinion. Liked the driver so much, I purchased the 3 wood as well. Same great results. Carlsgolfland service, as usual was excellent.
Great driver! Looks awesome and performs better then any other I've tried. Easy to adjust. Nice white head cover, I was initially concerned about the white getting dirty and stained but so far it's not been an issue. I chose the Mizuno over the new Cobra and Sim. Easily out performed both for me.
I had been gaming a cobra driver since 2014 and was due for an upgrade. I wanted a straight/fade bias drive after hooking my old driver off and on for a few years. It's been a game changer! The drive arrived brand new with headcover. Be aware you need your own adjustment tool as it is not provided with this sku.
I've been playing my old driver for 10 years. The Mizuno ST-Z is amazing to me. I really had no idea that drivers had moved so far beyond what I had been playing. Not only is the ST-Z longer and straighter (I was expecting that), it's long and straight ALL OVER THE FACE! Mishits go almost as far and almost as straight as center face contact. I'm completely blown away. The Motore X F3 has a similar weight and bend profile to my previous driver shaft, so I had no problem adapting to it. The ST-Z feels good and sounds great too. For an 'off the rack' guy like me, this driver exceeded my expectations in every way.
I was excited to get a great deal for a forgiving driver, especially one from a brand traditionally known for making some of the best irons in the market. When I received it, I took it to the range and tested it against my current driver, Taylormade Stealth 2 Plus. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the overall feel and distance compared to my Stealth 2 Plus.I play to about a 12 handicap and my swing speed is between 105 -110 mph. The biggest reason I chose the Mizuno was mainly the price. At a discounted price of $299, it's half the price of what Taylormade, Ping and Callaway drivers cost for comparable models.I will be returning the driver in exchange for something else. Bought this driver 2 months ago after a fitting. Absolutely amazing results. Looks great at address and ball flight is straighter with a higher launch angle than my previous Calloway driver. My friends have noticed the difference in my driving even on a slight miss hit. I went to Mizuno irons last year and was so pleased I decided to give their driver a chance. Glad I did!
The Mizuno STZ 230 driver I recently purchased was a great purchase (value). The club didn't have a mark on it. The club is more forgiving and hotter than the previous model. I am very pleased!
