Best supportive trainers - my third pair ā¤ļø

This is my third pair of these trainers. After the second pair I got sucked in by another brand because they had nicer colours and got injured so lesson learned, stick to what works. They’ve got me through two marathon training blocks, they’re super comfy and as an overpronator, they support my feet too. They are pretty hot to wear and can feel a bit clumsy for speed sessions or races so I have different shoes for those occasions but for easy paced long runs, they are the best. Also, an absolute bargain compared to other brands!

Great comfort and fit - limited /poor colour options for women

These trainers are super comfy and well made - I am return Mizuno customer because of my previous pair (now falling apart as I wore to the ground). I am not keen on the how much the toe section falls away and maybe it’s just getting use to it.I’m not a fan of the ridiculous big platform trainer heel fad now pumped out by all the manufacturers. These are not the worst I’ve seen and doable (obvs). One note for Mizuno (the 4 instead of 5 stars) is the poor colour options in trainers for women - in that style at least. All pastel beyond the black and white (which I opted for in the end). Rally Mizuno?! While the men’s options had a gorgeous (mid-dark) green I wanted, or a blue I could’ve done if not, unfortunately there were none available in the men’s shoe in my ...Ā MoreThese trainers are super comfy and well made - I am return Mizuno customer because of my previous pair (now falling apart as I wore to the ground). Love these Mizuno trainers . Great for long runs & suit my feet , so comfortable and springy ! Bought half size larger as I run long distances. Never suffer from any blisters or rubbing , so I’m on my 5th pair of these . Also suit my wide feet …

Great trainers delivered promptly
12 November 2023

This was a bit of a risky purchase. I usually have gait analysis and then only buy online if I'm getting the exact same product because I overpronate on one foot. In the past, off the shelf trainers have caused me back pain. I've been running in mizuno wave inspire 17s but I can't currently afford to pay full price for trainers so I took a chance on these wave inspire 18s hoping they offered the same support. I'm pleased to report that they do. I've run about 20k in them so far with no problems whatsoever. I'll definitely get them again.

My favorite shoes
10 May 2023

These shoes are durable and hold up in extreme conditions. These shoes are so comfy. I wear them to work where I work on a cement floor. I am on my feet all day. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have tried. I have terrible feet, neuropathy and so much pain. These shoes make my feet comfortable while at work and less tired when I am done with work. I love them. I wear them outside in rain and snow too. They hold up very well to all conditions. So worth the money.

New mizuno wave inspire 18 trainers
24 November 2022

I always buy Wave Inspire as they fit my feet perfectly, even accommodating a bunion and orthotics. I was concerned that the latest ones were constructed from a thinner fabric and I was unsure about the interior toecap, previous iterations having a nicely textured woven fabric and external toecap. However, they needed no wearing in and are very comfortable. I’m unable to wear my new thicker orthotics but the custom insole seems to provide good support. The pale grey finish - it really isn’t blue as advertised - is boring but goes with all my kit so that’s a plus of sorts, and they’re unbeatable value at Ā£99

Super new trainers
4 December 2023

I’m really pleased with these. Perfect fit, excellent support, and very comfortable. Roomier and sturdier than my last pair of 18s, I wore them to spinning on the day they arrived and never looked back. Lovely shade of blue as well. I’m a little disappointed that, unlike my previous pairs going back to 12 s, ā€˜Wave Inspire 18’ appears nowhere on this shoe. I wonder why that is…

Supportive & comfy
1 June 2023

I spent ages trying to find a pair of reasonably priced comfortable trainers for my 5-10k runs and gym sessions that not only supported my foot/ankle injury but also allowed my high instep space to ā€˜be’, and were cushioned too. These are a great pair of trainers compared to my previous Ā£100+ pair (I couldn’t afford that again this time!).My only issue is that I have a slight blister rub on the underside of my heel but I’m sure over time that will harden up.The free pair of sports socks at the time of purchase was a nice touch too! Great delivery and service from Start Fitness too.

Women's Mizuno Wave Inspire 18
17 February 2023

These are my favorite shoe to workout and walk in! I like that Fleet Feet has many styles and brands to choose from so that you don't have to wear the same shoe every day. I wore these shoes to New York this week as I knew I would be walking a lot. Didn't disappoint me at all. My feet and legs felt great after walking around 168th street, then took a taxi to the MET, then through Central Park to go eat at The Smith restaurant, then subway back to 40th street where we stayed at Margaritaville Hotel. That is just one day walking!

love them
19 July 2023

This is my fourth pair of Wave Inspire and I love the fit but I wish they would reinforce the toe bed a bit. After about 2 months I start to get a whole in the toe area. It is due to how I flex my foot when I run/walk. I have heard the complaint from others so hopefully they will provide a fix. Otherwise they fit my flat feet which was caused by my arches collapsing due to a prior injury many years ago. Great support!!
