This is based off of one run so far: This shoe is great. I just started running again after 5 years. I was between 260 and 240 and in my mid 30's the last time I took on the task of running this much. I ran in under armor shoes back then and technology for shoes didn't concern me at all. When trying on running shoes now I didn't like the bounce but I sure like it now that my knees are cr@p. The wave riders are very comfortable and let me keep a decent pace for my short 2.5 mile run.

I have always loved the Mizuno Wave Rider. When running in my more youthful days, my body always felt comfortable and ready to go whenever I laced up this baby!!! Though they are harder to find, I can always rely on Fleet Feet to have what I need for my walking exercises.

This is my second pair in the Mizuno Wave Rider series. My first pair was with me for close to 1000 km but developed a tear near the midsole. I really love the responsiveness of these shoes, which I think is due to its wave plate. There is a good cushioning for impact but not so much that you feel like you sink into the ground. Mizunos are rare to find in Canada so I am glad Altitude Sports carries them.

Shoe was awesome on my first time road running use. I had a pair of Hoka Clifton 8s and those were making my calf and ankle sore after long distance runs possibly due to the heel drop. Switched to these and by far the best running show i own, and i tried brooks/hokas. Worth the buy!
These are great shoes for running or walking. They provide a bit of a spring in your pace and look great as well.
Beautiful comfortable shoes. Used them for umpiring baseball last weekend and they were superb.
Shoes are very comfortable straight out of the box and have performed well whilst running so far. The shoes can run a little hot on the foot at times, however this may settle down with wear/time.
Great pair of shoes with very comfortable soles. Excellent running shoes with ankle support and good grip on the pavement and treadmill. Thoroughly enjoy the feel and feedback of the shoe. However, a MASSIVE letdown is its durability with the front of the shoe having fluff/lint only after about 2 weeks worth of use.I brought it back to a Athelete's Foot store and met a Mizuno rep who very quickly dismissed my concerns with "you're looking into too much detail" and it's not an issue. Having owned so many running shoes from Saucony Triumphs, Hoka Bondi 8s, and Brooke's GTS it was very disappointing that the issue was my attention to detail.
