I was apprehensive about using these. I was going abroad and would be on my period midway. I am quite heavy the first few days. I took back ups of sanitary towels/tampons thinking I would have to use them as they wouldn't work.Oh my goodness one of my best buys, so much so I keep promoting them to anyone I see!They were comfortable, didn't look like big ugly knickers. Not only comfortable fit but I felt comfy when feeling bloated. I had no leakage and wore them all day around the pool. This saved missing out on the enjoyment of the pool for hours on end!

Bought these for my daughter who recently got her period. She loves the pool so I had to get these for her, knowing she was likely to have her period during our vacation. She was a bit hesitant to wear them for fear of leaks. I was able to convince her to give them a try. After a while in the pool, no leaks and she was happy that her vacation wasn’t ruined. We washed them by hand at night and by next morning they were completely dry. I wish these had been around in my younger years!So happy we got them and they’ll be out to good use during our vacations!

I’ve only started using reusable period underwear in the past year but I’m loving it. I’m sceptical of the period swimwear though but thought I’d give it a go after reading many promising reviews.I went with the black hi-waist thinking it would give me good coverage and be comfortable. I know the last thing I want to wear at that time of the month is a skimpy brief!Wasn’t too sure about the recycled aspect of the fabric but it was still quite good quality. These hi waist swim bottoms are great! They allowed me to go swimming without any other protection on my light days while I was on vacation. The fit was perfect. I got my regular underwear size. One thing that I didn't think of while purchasing is that while swimming in the waves of the ocean, water definitely was getting inside and not draining! So, I had to keep letting the water out, which was easy and not a big deal, but not something I thought of when purchasing. The fabric is silky soft and the product just generally very comfortable. No one noticed that I was wearing special swimwear. Made my vacation SO much more enjoyable. Loving Modibodi and plan to buy another pair of these. Thank you!
I'm sceptical of reviews on products but honestly the reviews of these being very good are correct. Brought for a holiday with period due. I've been in the water every day, zero leaking, great fit, comfortable. At end of day I wash out with soap and wear again the next day. You can see when washing that the water doesn't leak through the gusset area at all. Without these my holiday would have been spent watching from the poolside so pleased I brought them. Will continue to wear at home so I don't have to give excuses to my children that I can't go swimming this week! Amazing product, really can't give enough praise for saving my holiday!
I originally ordered these to wear for my twice weekly AquaFit class but hadn’t tried them yet. I recently went on a long weekend away, and I knew I’d be spending a lot of time in and around the hotel pool. But due to the worst timing my period arrived just before I left. I took these bottoms and wore and washed them every day and they were great! I wasn’t sure how secure I’d feel wearing them for several hours rather than just the hour for my class, so did use tampons but these were a great back up for the heavier day. No embarrassing incidents in the pool! I’m thinking of ordering the one piece for my AquaFit classes next. Was very nervous before wearing these for the first time but read all the good reviews and felt reassured. Didn’t need to worry at all - spent almost 3h in a public pool, half swimming, half relaxing in the water, and not a single leak (moderate/low flow). To be honest, forgot I was even wearing them. I am normally size 10/S but have a bit of belly/waist fat, so was considering going a size up. A lovely customer service representative suggested sticking with the same size as my regular period undies, and she was right. They provided good coverage and were very comfortable. Didn’t feel like period swimwear at all. Hope they last well (my regular period undies have so far).
Being female, I knew that my bodily cycle was going to clash horribly with my first ever trip to Bali, so I purchased these swim briefs. Whilst other precautions were in place (I'm sure you get my drift), the briefs functioned perfectly and exactly as I was hoping. They added the extra reassurance that I was looking for, and I was able to wear them under a normal one-piece without it being obvious. Definitely worth the money! P.S. I'm not certain of my waist and hip size so ignore that part of the review - it forced me to choose an option.
I just came back from holiday and these were a lifesaverAnytime I changed to “normal”bikini bottoms it was disaster leakwise.
