This champagne has been around forever!! An oldy but a goody, when you sip this you will never be disappointed. It has a lovely flavour, isn't sour or sharp in any way. Even the bottle it comes in is elegant - so an awesome gift. I only really have champagne for a celebration, but this one makes me always want more. It's price is in the low-mid range. Definitely one you want to try. It's worth it.

Moet Imperial is the House's iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies the unique Moet Chandon style; a style that distinguishes itself by its bright fruitiness, seductive palate, and elegant maturity.; Vibrant intensity of green apple and citrus fruit; fresh mineral nuances and white flowers; elegant blonde notes of brioche and fresh nuts; Fresh white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach, apple) and vibrant citrus fruit brought to life with fine, lively bubbles and a bright finish;

I have been drinking Moet and Chandon since the 80's. Back then, they had White Star which was " Extra Dry" and Imperial was "Brut". They discontinued White Star (which was my preference) and I called to inquire about it. They told me that they had combined the two varieties into the new Imperial. At first, I was on the fence with the brutier taste.So, I stopped getting it as my "go to" Champagne. Giving it another try, a few months ago, (many different Champagnes between). I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it!! So much so, I ordered 3 bottles to celebrate my birthday!!In my opinion, this Champagne is a crowd pleaser! From the novice to the ones with a particular palate will all enjoy a glass or two.Not too dry, not too sweet.

In the hectic days before Thanksgiving we needed to send a small gift of champagne to a friend before her wedding. Not only was the Brentwood Missouri store incredibly helpful with assisting my elderly mother in placing the order;. A staff member named Patty went above and beyond when doordash failed to deliver the package correctly. Patty is amazingly considerate and professional and clearly needs to be singled out for praise. Thank you and thanks Patty!
Moet et Chandon Brut is always delicious and always delivers... consistently smooth and crisp. It's a staple at my celebrations. Everyone loves it and the packaging is so festive. I have compared it to more expensive brands and could not find a reason to spend more money. You can pay more but why bother!
I ordered this champagne for my New Yearās Eve solo celebration dinner. It was a perfect choice for both, mimosaās and alone. We had a 8h power outage during the entire evening of the New Yearās Eve, so the Moet made it more pleasant. Highly recommended!!
Bought this as a special gift as it was described as a gold effect metal bottle. Was happy to pay an extra £25 plus for the metal bottle as opposed to the standard glass bottle. Unfortunately it was a standard glass bottle covered in gold coloured sticky backed plastic. Not worth the extra money so sadly returned. John Lewis have said they will be changing the website. Cannot fault customer service.
Bought some Moet Chandon Champagne as a gift for someone. Over Ā£40 and Asda just deliver it with no box and a shabby marked bottle/label! Disgraceful! I wonāt be shopping in Asda again if thatās how you treat customers who are willing to spend a fair bit of money with you.
I am new to Champagnes and generally prefer red and white wines. This is a refreshing wine. A yeasty nose leads to bracing acidity the perks up the mouth to full attention. Lemon peel, green apples, chestnuts on the palate that leads to a fairly long and tantalizing finish. Yes, this comes from a big champagne house. One expects the controlled consistency. One may even expect it to be on the generic or boring side. Yes it is controlled but not boring. Quite polished and enjoyable. Does it deserve the 92 pt rating from WS. I do not have tastes developed yet to answer that. I am not sure how an NV champagne can even be rated. Are they that consistent in taste year over year? Is it worth the price? That is not a question one should ask while drinking champagne. Enjoy!
Ordered this Giant sized Bottle of fizz for a friends Birthday. The ornamental value of this champagne far out weighs the delicious taste of the boozy bubbles inside the bottle.It takes its pride of place on my friends cabinet in the lounge for all to admire.The order and delivery experience of this item with The Bottle Club was very positive. Great value for money compared to other retailers selling the same product. Highly recommend this online retailer.
The style of the Imperial Brut NV is one that is lively and generous, it distinguishes itself by a bright fruitiness, a seductive palate and an elegant maturity that continually seduces and delights. On the eye Moet & Chandon Imperial is a golden straw yellow with green highlights. The bouquet is vibrant and intense with citrus fruit and green apples at first, followed by fresh mineral nuances and white flowers with elegant blond notes of Brioche and fresh nuts to finish. On the palate it combines subtlety and sumptuousness, flavours of white fleshed fruits such as pears, peach and apple entice you in with the caress of fine bubbles. It then turns very elegant with flavours of citrus fruits such as gooseberry finish of the fireworks in your mouth. A beautiful champagne worth all the attention it gets. Brut ImpƩrial is Moƫt et Chandon's benchmark Champagne, created from more than 100 different wines, of which 20% to 30% are reserve wines (held back from older vintages) specially selected to enhance their mature character, complexity and consistency. Chef de Cave (head winemaker) BenoƮt Gouez is a master of the art of blending and year on year ensures Brut ImpƩrial is a standard bearer for the distinctive Moƫt et Chandon character. The wine is a blend of the classic Champagne grapes Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The fresh crisp palate reveals flavours of citrus and white fleshed fruits (apple, pear, white peach) alongside floral notes and elegant hints of brioche and fresh nuts. Serve in tall flutes, on its own or with canapƩs.
