These are very cheap headphones disguised as quality/expensive ones.Don’t bother with them for the price.I would honestly recommend the noise cancelling headphones from DS as the quality is far ahead of the mokis. You would be better off buying non noise cancelling headphones at this price point as the noise cancelling is more of a suggestion than a function. The sound is quiet and has very little bass.Very disappointing unfortunately. Not many positives other than they are cheapish to buy and have a nice carrying case. They fit snuggly and are reasonably comfortable around the ears.

Bought them for my 2.5 year old for the plane and they’re great. Reduced volume seemed quiet to me however she seemed quite content and liked it. Sounds was great quality, smooth & not ‘tinny’. LOVE that you can use the cord incase the battery goes or to connect to the in-flight movie. Although - the battery lasts SO long that it is amazing wireless anyway. For her age (2.5) they are slightly big - they stay on if she is against a chair/lying down, but slip off if she tries to move around. Can make them work for the plane, for movement I think they’ll be loose until she’s at least 3-3.5 years old. Overall I’m happy and we were so stoked with the price MYER offered in comparison to other stores with the same product. The iPad not only acts as his talking device but also helps keep him occupied and calm when outside the house allowing us to function more normally as a family in restaurants, around shops, on planes etc. Very loud noises also bothers him so the addition of the noise cancellation is an added benefit.SETUP/USE: It is easy to setup and connects as soon as the power button is held for several seconds with a blue light and beep to confirm. On initial setup up you just hold the power button down for five seconds and the blue light flashes continuously putting it into paring mode. The headphones are found in your devices list in the Bluetooth setting and away you go.Once paired and turned on it connects seamlessly within seconds without any further input required to the device. It can only pair to one device but for a kid’s headset this is fine, you don’t need multiple connections like an adult would want.Turning off is just as easy, the power button has to be held for 3 seconds and again another beep message comes through via the headset with the indicator lighting up red. It really is pretty simple and straight forward
.I see some complaints about turning on/off but it needing to be held down is essential to prevent accidental powering off of the unit by the child. Most headphones have this feature for the same reason so not sure why so many people are having difficulties with it?You just hold down the button and wait for the light/beep.NOISE LIMITING/BATTERY: The noise (dB) limitation function gives us the reassurance his ears are not being damaged if he turns it up to maximum himself and the battery on this thing is phenomenal! He uses this daily and at best it needs a charge once a week which outperforms higher quality adult headsets.NOISE CANCELLATION: The noise cancellation is a God send for him as we can turn it on for him when there are loud noises like construction work around that normally distresses him but this protects him when he needs it. The battery copes fine with it on as well which really surprised me but you don’t leave it on when not needed. Most regular kid’s won’t need this function but for cases like on a long plane flight etc it is most welcome. This is done via a separate switch and it lights up green to indicate noise cancellation is active so u can see just by looking at the headset. The battery time obviously will reduce if this is on all the time but I have never needed to do this so I doubt u will as well.DURABILITY: The build quality is exceptional after we have tried almost all other kid’s noise limiting headphones on the market and believe me I have trialed a lot of them for him.I do agree these are not the most compact headphones and while they can fold inwards I don’t recommend doing it as it compresses the ear foam. It makes them more bulky but this is really the only negative I can see of them.In terms of durability I can assure you he puts it through more of a stress testing than your child ever will. The hinge mechanism finally gave up after nearly a year of daily use and that is more because he intermittently lifts it off his ear to the side to hear clearly but this is obvious incorrect stressing the hinge mechanism. I cannot fault Moki for this as really he should pull it backwards off his ears rather than to the side.Other headsets at best lasted him 1-3 months. This set is built like a tank, if my kid cant break it yours will not unless they are deliberately rough with it.NEGATIVES/ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENTS: If I was to give one negative or room for improvement advice to Moki it would be to switch from Micro-USB to USB-C to make charging much easier but given we can get a full week of daily use out of it before needing charging it’s not a major complaint. These headphones are not really designed to be compact so if they removed the hinge mechanism this would further increase their durability and long term use potential in my opinion. I don’t think these need to be foldable as if u wanted ultra portable / compact these are probably not the best ones for your needs.CONCLUSION: Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of this product. If u need more proof, I can tell you I purchased two spare ones that I keep in case Moki stops making this unit, it’s that good.Honestly yes it is expensive for a “kids headset” but you get what you pay for and given it lasts four to five times longer compared to other kids Bluetooth headsets that cost around half as much as the Moki they are worth every penny to us.Hope that helps some confused parents make an informed purchasing choice. You cant go wrong with these headphones.

Buttons in completely the wrong place
12 November 2021

I like the head phones overall, they are comfortable and work long enough between charges. Operation is easy. But......the buttons are absolutely in the the wrong place. I had a different set of Moki headphones before with perfect button placement, so I was disappointed at the ludicrous placement of the controls in this pair. Additionally, the volume control is set too low. I listen to audiobooks, and when out and about if there's wind or traffic, even with the noise cancelling activated, I can barely hear anything - so that's disappointing also. Would not buy this particular headphone again, though I don't have an issue with Moki overall (previous pair did me great service).

Great for work and play
2 April 2023

My kids, 7 & 10, loved these. They fit perfectly, soft on the ears and fold away for easy storage. They can use them to listen to music and just to cancel out noise. We homeschool, so these have made it easy for them to be in the same room yet still doing their own thing.

Great product. To be honest the noise cancelling is just as good as my Bose comfort II headphones which are 3x the price and build quality for such a good price is just exceptional. Only used for one 9 hour plane journey and had plenty of juice afterwards.
