Love love love this watch.I ordered both this and a vegan leather one, and was more impressed with this one as I don't think the vegan leather strap would last long.It's a beautiful retro looking classy watch, and having the date is a bonus.So glad I purchased this.

Came across Montaine by “accident” while looking for every-day practical replacement for two of my dress watches…. The Evo2 is a gorgeous and beauty-full watch that is comfortable to wear, easy to read, and accurate as per the legendary lineage of Swiss watch technology. I know this doesn’t have the highest specifications for a near $300 watch, but there is something about this design that is timeless and bold. I often just stare at it. Definitely worth the purchase if you are on the fence! The sapphire crystal is certainly a blessing. Quirk: the date mechanism goes to 39.

This is the third Mondaine watch I have had. It's beautiful, especially the bracelet. I was a little nervous about adjusting it but it's easy. I love that the design is plain and functional but very classy. As others have mentioned, the date is easy to read. The quality is obvious. I think it's a perfect watch!
A lovely watch with a classic, clean look. It catches people’s eye and draws appreciative comments. It’s a large watch which is a bit of an illusion, caused by it’s almost complete lack of a bezel., but even on my small wrist, it looks great. First Class Watches dispatched my purchase soon after ordering it one morning and it was with me the next morning, well packed and protected. Great service indeed!
I find as we get a 'little' older seeing the date on our watches becomes a little more difficult.Reading the time is no problem but so many watches have a miniscule date, but with this watch it is easy to read so it fits the bill. Neat in appearance with a nice comfortable and attractive bracelet I find the size just perfect. The brand is well known with a very good reputation.
I am totally impressed by this stunning watch.I was concerned that having a metal strap would diminish the design. The strap itself is extremely stylish ...it is an unusual Milanese stainless steel mesh.The watch keeps excellent time and is easy to see at a glance.I have had many flattering comments .

The watch is perfectly manufactured, almost 100% Swiss, from beginning to end, even Rolex started life in England. The sapphire crystal means it should be hard wearing, and the face is the most legible watch face, it's a stunning piece. The lollipop seconds hand isn't a whimsical or childish design, it's an exact copy of the Swiss Railways platform clocks, as mentioned in other reviews. A great watch that looks great poking out of a white cuff, or relaxed-looking with a t shirt.
