I have never been so absolutely disappointed in the quality of Monopoly or Star Wars products as I am with this game. WhSt a garbage collaboration, don’t waste your money. Card board pieces? Seriously? It’s my fault, I should have looked better. Don’t waste your money!

While I didn't know much about the Star Wars Mandlorian, I had seen The Child everywhere. I knew my friends are big Star Wars fans so when invited to their house for Thanksgiving, I purchased this game thinking it would be fun. The game goes much quicker than the regular Monolopy game as there are only seven spaces on each of the four sides so the number of properties are less....but that made it so much fun.... we gathered to play teams and had a blast. Anyone not understanding the Stars Wars background can still have a ball.
Good for the sale price, not all we anticipated. What we really were excited about was what the metal player pieces would be. I should have read the reviews. cardboard cut outs were a let down and the only reason we're keeping it to give as a gift to kids. for the sale price ( half off) it's acceptable. I think the kids will think it's fun. recommend but read and see review pix. Walmart didn't show pix of even the back of the game box, it's obvious why.
Disappointed with this Monopoly game, it has cardboard cutouts of the child as the game pieces. I knew this from the pictures before I bought it so that is not the complaint. My complaint is come on couldn't the company have made them metal pieces like all the other games? So I am rating this 3 stars as Hasbro or Disney cheaped out when making this game.
This is a good game for beginners or children. If you are a die-hard fan of classic Monopoly board games, you will be disappointed. It lacks a story, lacks classic build and play. They added a “roll again” place on the board which doesn’t make sense at all. Very cheap, cardboard cutouts, regular house and hotel pieces that are labeled as hideouts and a common house but look nothing like in the show. Looks like the game was made overnight to satisfy customer demands.
I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my younger sister and nephew. They are Star Wars FREAKS and they LOVED this new Mandalorian Star Wars Monopoly Game that was new on the shelves this past 2020 season. They are big board game players to so this was a for sure big hit. No complaints here! And the price was right too!
Terrible. If you have small children who are just starting to get into board games it might be worth your while. As an adult who loves board games, just put your money in a shredder it’s probably more satisfying. The board is short properties/squares. The “pieces” are nothing special, sad pieces of cardboard without any craftsmanship you expect from monopoly. The cards are not funny or cute, I think they paid a kid to write them. Would not recommend, it’s such a cheap product. What a disappointment.
This is the worst monopoly I’ve played. It is so cheap and honestly feels like it was made in one night by someone who has never watched the mandalorian or played Star Wars. The pieces are not metal but cheap cardboard cutouts (and it only came with 4). It is missing pieces and properties. Also, there are two properties per color, one being less expensive to purchase and one being more expensive, BUT they have the same value (the same mortgage value and the same payouts). The spaces themselves are not properties but random items like “helmet” and “satchel”. And even the cards themselves are poorly done. The print is so tiny and some of them don’t even make sense.
