I decided to purchase the Carry-On Plus in sage green for a 10-day trip to Italy after my old suitcase broke shortly before my trip and wasn’t covered under warranty anymore.I wanted to be able to go carry on only for the trip as we would be touring around and staying in multiple locations and I just didn’t want to lug a big bag. Wheels roll so smoothly it literally glides across the floor and will keep its momentum, so watch out for any smooth sloped floors as you luggage might go on its own independent trip if unattended. Across industrial carpets is is also very smooth.Fits perfectly in airplane overhead compartments, even on its side; so don't be inconsiderate and take up more overhead bin than you need by stowing your luggage the long way on its back. If you set the zippers just right, it is easy to get access to the front compartment even from the overhead bin. The shell is amazingly resilient to damage and feels very light.My wife says it is easy to pack, and wishes there was a similar flush handle on the bottom as there is on the top so it would be easier to lift up when fully loaded or maneuver in the car. Once packed in the car, these bags can be quite difficult to move around because they are so smooth, so make sure to put the wheels in first and have the top or side handle exposed so you can grab it.

The suitcase itself appears small and very very light, but it holds more than you'd anticipate, with the inside straps helping to compact your clothes, and the other zippers and pockets providing ample storage for your miscellaneous toiletries, etc. It's also much more durable than you'd think given how light it is. I hesitated purchasing the luggage cover because it seemed extreme, but I would recommend grabbing one if you, like me, are extremely particular about the cleanliness and newness of your item.

Away's interior is mostly black fabric with the Away logo ALL OVER the inside.-The Monos carry handle feels more contoured on the hand than Away's plus Monos has more handle lock positions than Away.Monos Cons:-Away's zippers are slightly recessed under the hard polycarbonate shell while Monos sits flush with the shell making the Monos zipper feel less protected and more exposed than Away.-You can only store flat items or paper in the extra compression flap storage because if anything else gets stored there it could be crushed, broken, or interfere with the compression straps.-I wish there was another leather handle on the bottom of the bag. I've found myself lifting from the bottom rather than the side (where there is a handle) and wishing there was some sort of grip down there.-The shell gets easily scuffed. There are a couple permanent spots on my luggage that I could not buff out no matter how hard I tried and rubbed.
