About 2 years ago I was in the market for a suitcase set (a checked bag and a carry-on). I wanted something cute, light weight, has good wheels, and durable. Then I saw many good reviews about their customer service and that when I made my decision to buy a set of checked bag and a carry-on bag from them.I was very happy with my purchase and been using them on several trips both domestic and international but on my recent trip to Thailand I found a large crack on my checked bag on my way back. Luckily I found it before I left for the airport so I was able to get the duck tape (even with the matching color š) to patch it before loaded on the plane. I emailed the company to let them know and they communicated with me almost right away and with in just a few weeks I received the replacement free of charge or harassments!!! This is amazing! If you are looking for a new luggage I really recommend this brand! I really enjoy the set I have especially the carry-on that I use all the time. #monostravel

Purchased for recent 2 week trip where I would need a variety of work and casual clothes. This held everything I needed for 2 weeks, and weighed in at the airport at 46lb's crammed to the limits. Being so light weight of a bag, helped keep the total weight under the limits so I did not have to pay additional fee's at the airport for going over any limits, which was great. It makes great use of space, and does hold more than you expect. No need for an additional carry on. Rolls smooth. My only complaint was that the exterior was easily damaged and came back from the airline totally destroyed. Even after cleaning off with soap and water, and using the included sponge, there were marks that still could not be removed. Lots of scratches left behind. I've traveled 30K miles and 4 different countries since I got this luggage about a month ago - so I am ready to write a review. Functionality-wise it has been flawless, I have no complaints at all. All the features are useful and work properly - it has everything you need and nothing that you don't. Although, Something like a recessed handle on the bottom and the ability to expand would be welcomed additions - still that is not a deal breaker for me. There are cheaper options with pretty much the same features and similar quality. In my opinion, with Monos you pay a premium for the looks. I traveled 300K miles on my previews similarly featured Samsonite luggage before anything failed - we will see how Monos compares at twice the price.

After finding Monos, I decided to invest in a smaller set for business travel. This medium check-in is perfect for trips where my carry-on may not be enough, but the additional slightly larger bag is perfect. I love the compression feature and the roomy pockets for the smart traveler.The wheels are perfect for maneuvering through the airport and outside. I also love that the outer shell protects my cloths and items. The built in TSA lock is great. I never have to worry about a lock again. I purchased the Terracotta medium check-in to match my carry-on and I love them together. The quality is great, love the extra storage and organization inside. I have not used this one yet but have traveled with my carry-on and loved it. One improvement I would love to see is the compression straps in the medium check-in. I assumed, without checking-my mistake, that the compression straps in the medium were the same as the carry-on. They are not. The carry-on straps are mounted with metal screws to the suitcase and seem extremely sturdy. I would not worry about them ripping off if pulled to hard. The medium check-in are not mounted the same way. They appear to just be sewn in and don't seem as sturdy if pulled on hard. I ordered this suitcase in Sage Green. It's a very beautiful color. It goes well with the Metro Weekender in Juniper Green. The shipping was fast, arrived quicker than most of the items I order stores based here in the USA! Also, the packaging & the dust cover bag are very good.I unboxed this at work & my coworkers all came over to check it out. They were all very impressed with it & a few took turns rolling it around. We have been able to keep them very clean with the special cleaning sponges, so they look nearly new, though we have enjoyed them for 2 years. The internal strap down cover enables us to pack much more than expected, though we always pack items to fit between the two channels for the handles so there is no pressure to bind the handles. We have never had to repack because of stuffing too much right over the handle channels, unlike other bags we have owned. The wheels held up under intense rolling in airports and train stations, as well as being used over roads/pavements, sidewalks, cobblestones of different shapes and sizes, stairs, and even (with some effort) a bit of gravel.
