Switching off n on it starts again for few brief seconds. Alot of money for half a hours play. Is it disconnecting from remote? No idea its fully charged etc. Complete waste.

He is a huge Monster Jam fan already (we have gone to Monster Jam shows for the past 2 years at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ). His mouth dropped open when he saw this in the toy store and begged Grammy and Pop-pop to buy it for him. He was soooo happy walking out the store with his Grave Digger Monster Truck.When we got home, he couldn’t wait to charge it (it was fully charged pretty quickly). We then took it outside to our back yard and he was controlling it within a couple of minutes. We have a ramp which we use for bike riding which he quickly figured out we could use for the MJ truck driving it up and down the ramp. He LOVES this truck! It is a CAN’T MISS gift for a 4 year old boy!

The problem, however, is that you only get 10-15 minutes of play from a full charge, and in our case, the toy stopped functioning properly within just a few days. Spin Master really dropped the ball on this one. We returned it.

Don't bother! Wish i had read the reviews more thoroughly before purchasing and after reading them now im shocked to see this still being sold.My 8 year old son got this for Christmas and it doesnt even work. Charged it to a full battery, entered new batteries into the remote and the car and control WILL NOT connect properly to one another despite using all the troubleshooting methods advised online. If it does manage to connect, the vehicle moves about 5 minutes after the lever has been touched. Ridiculous amount of money for such a poor made product.
We bought this late last year, in advance, for an Xmas present for our 6 year old son. It looks fantastic, really has the wow factor! Unfortunately, it cuts out by the time it gets to the end of our street. The most we’ve managed to get it to go before cutting out, is about 10 mins. Returned it to York store in Jan, who had us wait for an hour while they charged it and told us it was fine after they tested it, so we returned home with it. We’ve tried everything, we still can’t get it to last more than 10 mins. We’ve also emailed videos to head office as it’s clearly faulty.Very frustrating. It really isn’t worth it, such a shame! I hope to return it with no mess around!
Bought it using click and collect returned before leaving the shop. Flimsy plastic cab and styrofoam wheels: they were already ripping and torn. The stickers that gave the plastic were also peeling and this was all before leaving the shop. Would have lasted my child a day at mostCan do much more with the small RC grave digger which we shall stick to
So first off, this thing is huge! I’m taking up to an adult’s knee height :D. Super fun and lightweight making for easy transport and even the little kids can pick it up.It’s a fun rc truck but it’s really lacking in power and speed unfortunately.It can’t handle any incline steeper than a few inches which is a shame as you’d expect to be able to do cool jumps etc with a monster truck.Battery life is good and we get around 30mins on a charge, charges quickly as well.Apart from the speed/power issue, it’s a really fun toy and there’s the wow factor of the size of it!
Online Buyer Beware. The wheels are made of foam with a small strip of rubber down the center. The images are inaccurate and the product description is not clear enough. If I knew the tires were foam I wouldn't have bought it. I'm very annoyed that I drove to the store (which isn't that close to me) and waited in line for 30 minutes to find out that I wanted to return the product the second I saw it, but couldn't due to Covid. I want my money back now please and will throw the thing in the garbage where it belongs to save you the time of me returning it and you going through this with the next poor bugger to buy it.Sincerely,Annoyed Consumer
Bought this remote control car for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas.Initially I was very impressed with it as it is quite a sturdy and robust toy.(It will not be easily broken.)However, there are a couple of things about it that I was disappointed with:1. This truck does not have the ability to mount paths.For example, if the child is driving it on the pavement in front of their house and the truck accidentally goes off the path onto the road, there is no way for the child to drive it back up on to the path as it won’t mount the an average path/step.2. The cab is really flimsy plastic and the wheels are made of styrofoam, wouldn’t have cost more than a fiver to make it.
