Santa brought this for my kiddo. It was charged until the light turned green and for several hours…new batteries in the remote. Truck worked for 2-3 minutes before remote started beeping (not out of range). Charged it again for longer- same issue. All of the packaging was thrown away so not sure if it is returnable. Would not recommend.

Extremely pleased with this purchase!!! This truck seems to be the most durable out of all the big rv monster jam trucks we own. The fact these wheels are more styrofoam makes it go super fast!! Easily jumps bigger rocks and tree branches. Super neat it is able to drive on the water!! My toddler loves it. Since it has a shark fin on the back, it will (not always) flip it self back over for you. The controller will also beep when as a warning when the truck is needing to be charged.

Very Cheaply Made when it comes to the wheels. But I Figured it would be great quality since my son has the Grave Digger Truck. which was way better quality with the wheels. the wheels on this toy are very cheaply made and the material sucks. my son did a trick and a flip and the wheels popped off. which I looked at the other reviews and the wheels were the biggest issue when it came to this toy. I really wish I would of gotten the warranty on they truck but I didn't because I had no idea something like this would happen. he got this toy for Christmas and it's only been 4 days and he can't use it anymore. which break my heart.

My 3 year old loves this thing! It is perfect for a toddler. It can actually completely turn with just the turn buttons, (you don’t have to simultaneously go forward or backward like most RC cars/real cars) so it’s easy for them to maneuver. It’s powerful and quite impressive for the price. So far it seems really durable. We had a blast on Christmas with it. I would definitely buy it again.
I bought this for my son’s 5th birthday present. He loves this R/C toy. And to be fair it is a pretty cool toy. Very capable of doing a lot of cool trick and stunts. However, the disappointment comes with the amount of times I have to charge it each day. The battery lasts maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I wish I had read some reviews prior to making the purchase. Looks like quite a few people have had the same/similar experience. The battery life is pathetic. After a few minutes of play, it just stops responding and the controller will beep. I didn’t want to give it one star (although perhaps I should) because it really is a fun toy. Just wished they had improved on the onboard charging system and battery. I hardly ever write reviews anywhere but I had to make sure I shared my experiences and thoughts on this monster truck!!!! I will start off with, this was a bday gift for my 6yr old daughter who loves to play with remote control cars. She is not very good at controlling them tho, but with this one she looks like a pro. This truck is pretty fast and durable even tho you wouldn't think it looking at it at first glance. The tricks are fun to do. The 360 'donuts' it does with just one knob push is entertaining. It drove great on gravel and dirt, didn't do so well tho in the field where there was dips and semi high grass and debris. Kept getting stuck which was a bummer considering how it's advertised. Honestly, make a toy that's designed to drive on WATER with a WATERPROOF remote! My daughter dropped this remote in the pool accidentally, within 5 minutes of play. We immediately scooped the remote out, took out the batteries, and opened it up to dry out. I even used Qtips and my hair dryer on cool to make sure it was dry immediately, but it's totally messed up. The green power light was blinking, then we finally got it to pair, but it drives the left two wheels at high speed, backwards, and the right two wheels barely respond to the remote at all. Totally unusable now! And worse, there aren't any spare remotes, so basically it's junk and we have to throw the whole toy out. This is a great truck! However, the biggest flaw is it doesn't hold a charge more than a day or so. Meaning if I charge it & my son doesn't play with it for a week, it needs to be charged again. I guess you could just leave it plugged in, but I doubt that's good for the battery. We have 3 of these on our street (plus the batman one makes 4) and all 4 of them have the same issue. The run time is ok. These things have taken a beating & are scratched all over but not broken! You just have to charge it shortly before you play with it.
This car is the best RC car we have purchased. It has no issues on any type of surface. It is very fast and the remote control is easy for my 3 year old boys and 5 year old girl. We have purchased 3 so each one could have thier own. I bought them on sale so the price was great! It is worth it! The only slight drawback is it last about 30-45 minutes of continuous play. But it is rechargeable. We also have the grave digger monster truck and this one is by far the better of the two.
This is the best most exciting remote control toy I have ever had the experience of playing with. I am 31 and my son is 4. We have had it in puddles,bathtubs,snow (we’re in SD so in talking blizzard level not just a GA drizzle) I mean this thing has taken beatings after beatings. My kid has driven it into walls at full speed so much and worst that’s happened is you can see a white line where the plastic bent so hard otherwise it’s good as new. Now mind you we’ve had it for probably close to two years now and yet out of all the other ones (including ALL the mega Mega sized ones) this one was and still remains my favorite. It’s the quickest. It’s got more balls to go up things. The most durable. The only one that’s actually fully waterproof. This thing is a BEAST!
