The bristles are very plastic like and rough. You would think the brushes should be softer. I personally wouldn't buy this again. Very cheap and should be costing less for how it was made.

Fantastic quality for a hobbyist or beginner, or as general-purpose brushes for a more experienced artist. You can't beat the value for money. While you may prefer a pricier brush, possibly mink, for fine details or the most visible layer, taklon in general - and these well-made, nicely trimmed brushes in particular - holds colour beautifully and has a smooth, soft feel. In my opinion it gives plenty of control and it is easy to attain a uniform finish if that's what you want. I have heard raw white taklon performs a little better and these are dyed, so if that's a concern, keep it in mind. Really, though, I think these brushes are an absolute bargain for the price.
