Morakniv Companion Black Outdoor Sports Knife

Safe, comfy grip with secure sheath. Durable steel blade resists corrosion and lasts. Lightweight design, easy to carry. Top-notch quality meets affordability.

Lovely camping knife without having to spend a fortune. Super happy with the quality and the Scandinavian blade grind. Nicely contoured handle that will last a long time.

Best all around knife

I highly recommend the high vis orange knife to anyone looking for a good knife to take out into the backcountry.I use the knife from cooking to cutting rope, opening up packages, any camp tasks that require a knife. The grip on the handle is rubbery and feels good in the hand. The sheath has a drain hole, so if the blade gets wet and you forget to wipe it down, at least it has a chance to dry out in the sheath.Top notch quality and very sharp blade, no wonder this knife is famous all around.

Best outdoor knife for under $50

This knife is REALLY sharp straight out of the box (like you could shave with it). Grip is comfortable and easy to clean, the sheath is not fancy but functional. Feels lightweight but blade is sturdy.

Cheap, sharp, fixed blade

It's cheap, light, will stay sharp forever without any work, has a comfortable handle, is stainless (won't rust), and has a great sheathe you can clip all over your backpack.Everyone should have one in their bag. Get rid of those folding knives that get all gunked up when you're cutting cheese and grab a Mora.Had mine for a few years, and it always comes with me backpacking instead of my more expensive knives because of everything I mentioned above.

Mora Companion knife

These knives have a great reputation and I can see why. My knife was very sharp and light weight. I tried it out in the backyard by feathering some fatwood and cutting some sticks. It worked perfect. The only drawback on these knives is that they won't strike a Ferro Rod without modification. I won't modify mine. These are great knives and I got mine cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else.

Outstanding in all respects.

Have purchased me one and was so impressed have given two(2) so far as gifts to friends who both hunt small and medium sized game and kill sheep for home consumption. I really wish I had one 30 years ago when I too killed, skinned, gutted and butchered sheep for self and other family.members(am now 79). A great size and blade shape, first class grip, excellent Swedish quality and excellent(surprisingly cheap) value. I still have another to give to a deserving friend.

Top knife

Excellent value for money. Retains a sharp edge and performance is as good as knifes 5 x the price. I have a new found liking for Swedish steel blades. They are underrated in my opinion

Very impressed

Bought this blade and cant get over the durability and sharpness. Cuts through any material with ease and is sturdy enough to baton and split wood. Lightweight yet sturdy and reliable. Already purchased a second one!

Warning: very sharp

I bought this knife for a planned trip a few weeks ago. It is a great knife, I am sure. Be warned, though, it is so sharp. I literally pulled it out of the sheath on the eve of my planned trip, and cut my hand so badly I required hand surgery to repair a nicked nerve. There is nothing wrong with this knife but please, respect it for its sharpness!
