I am using the shampoo with the corresponding conditioner. The Moroccanoil Treatment Hair Oil is one of my go-to products, I absolutely love it and have wanted to try some other things. The scent is not overwhelming. It’s refreshing. The packaging I like that shampoo bottle is blue. So I don’t mix up the shampoo conditioner. It’s great for winter when my hair is dry. I myself have fine hair. My daughter has curly/wavy but also fine hair. This is a better fit for her. It’s not heavy when applying shampoo . It’s got a great lather. It’s a good value for the $. But for fine hair is weighs it down

I have had 2 bad episodes with Covid. I have lost a lot of hair and it bothers me. I should not complain, I am not going through chemo. I have always had nice thick hair. Not at the moment. I love your products and I think that the shampoo might be helping. I loved how they both smelled and worked with my hair. I wanted to try the volumizing line as my hair is on the finer side. This line is completely different than the other products I have tried from Morrocanoil. The shampoo left my hair dry and didn’t smell good at all. The conditioner was also just mediocre. Nothing worth $75 a bottle. I love the extra volume shampoo! It takes just 1 to 2 pumps because it is has a thicker consistency for a shampoo I just rumb my hands together to thin the shampoo and my goodness this gives so much volume and makes my hair feel thicker. Because this does have a thicker consistency the value size bottle of shampoo lasted a year I have a large household! I am purchasing this for a 3rd time and I am so picky about my hair products and this will remain a staple in my home.
I have been using the Moroccan oil shampoo for about a month now washing twice a week. I have to say I’m pretty pleased. My hair feels thicker and I’m shedding a lot less. I used to have a crazy amount of hair loss and I didn’t know what to do. My hair feels clean after using this it doesn’t feel like I have product in my hair although it does dry my ends a bit. I have yet to use their conditioner because I only bought the shampoo but I’ve been combining it with my conditioner and my hair feels soft without styling. I also combined it with the Moroccan oil oil it smells great too. The smell for me at least does not last more than one day but it’s okay. My hair is still a bit frizzy after using this though it doesn’t really help with frizz control.
This is perhaps the worst shampoo I have ever used. It does not really lather, which, OK, I get the no lather thing, but this is not presented as such...and when I rinse it out, my hair feels like dry, wet straw, no slip whatsoever and even feels dirty...it's really weird. My hair does feel better after the conditioner, but you have to use a LOT to combat the drying nature of this shampoo. I bought this as a kit and will keep using the conditioner and samples but will not purchase again. Smells good, so that's a plus. I will keep looking for something that works for me!
Moroccanoil products are fantastic. 50% of my love for them is the marvelous original scent. The smoothing shampoo and conditioner had great scent. Since that product is no longer available, I tried The volume products. Its scent doesn't even come close to the scent in the smoothing products. I won't buy the shampoo and conditioner any more, and just go with the Morrocanoil treatment which still smells great for now.
I don’t know what is in this but I have never had a shampoo cause hair loss until this product. I have thick XL hair down to my butt and I’ve lost over half my hair density since using this. I used 4 times in December and noticed my hair was extremely greasy and loads of hair fall. Stopped using and after two months my hair seemed to be shedding normal. Tried the shampoo again and now two weeks later I’m still losing tons of hair because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t an external reason for the hair loss. I’m praying I grow back what I lost because I’m devastated
