The texture of this is thicker than an oil alone, so it's easy to work with and not dripping through your fingers and stuff. It's a pretty classic hair treatment. The smell is quite sweet, kinda like how vanilla smells sweet. I'm pretty sensitive to scents, especially florals, and this one isn't a selling point for me, but it also isn't bothersome enough for me to nix the product over it either. I really like argan oil for hair. The silicones in this help coat the strands and I think that tames the frizz (at least temporarily) much faster than an oil without. It's just worth considering if you *are* wanting to avoid sulfates.
