Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Shampoo 250mL

This was gifted. I have to often use nizoral and selsun blue shampoos. I really like salicylic acid and selenium sulfide. I don’t have psoriasis plaques but my scalp gets so irritated especially during changes in weather. It’s so annoying. I didn’t have high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner but they pleasantly surprised me. I still also need moisture as I do have frizzy, wavy hair. I really liked this shampoo and conditioner. I will probably buy the full sizes after I’m done with the small trials. The only thing I wish was different is the smell. I wish they smelled like the normal Moroccan oil products lol. Everything else I was pleased with.

I have been struggling with an itchy, uncomfortable scalp these hot summer days. I was happy to try this small #travelset. The fragrance of both the #shampoo and #conditioner was light yet therapeutically scented. I was pleased that the #scalphealth line is #sulfatefree. The shampoo lathered very well in my long hair and rinsed out well. The conditioner was creamy but not thick. After using both products, I towel-dried my hair and left it to air dry to feel the full effect of the process. My hair felt soft and fresh, and my scalp felt immediate relief.

I always love the scent that morrocanoil products have. This one has the signature blue mercury original scent. Im always a bit skeptical with scalp targeted products because while great for scalp they are definitely not color friendly. This did in fact bleed my color a bit but not too bad which was refreshing. It did dry tips a bit but not as much as I expected out of a scalp targeted shampoo. The conditioner did help balance that out. As far as my scalp? It did help it alot less flaky less dry. Idont know exactly what but its much improved.

The Moroccan Oil Scalp Balancing Shampoo helps to both rebalance the scalp and leave hair shiny and hydrated. This is a great shampoo that helps target flakes. It also soothes the scalp. Unlike most scalp targeting products this shampoo doesn’t dry out the e hair even with the salicylic acid included. The Moroccan oil added to the shampoo definitely helps to offset the hair being dried out by the scalp exfoliating ingredients included. The scent is a subtle fruity mix but not overwhelming. This is a great shampoo to buy especially as a set with the conditioner to leave the scalp healthy and exfoliated while maintaining shiny and hydrated hair.

Mixed Feelings

This shampoo has a much thinner consistency than I expected; it’s more like body oil. It has a strong herbal scent that kind of reminds me of bug spray. The fragrance is not my favorite, but luckily it doesn’t last on my hair for very long. The conditioner is thicker and I notice I had to use a lot of it just for one wash. The conditioner scent is much lighter; it’s similar to the shampoo but it’s barely noticeable honestly. Even though I didn’t like the fragrance of these products, I did notice they made my hair very soft.

My choice for healthy hair !!

Moroccan Oil Scalp Balancing Shampoo and conditioner is amazing for maintaining a healthy scalp and clean hair. Its gentle formula balances oil without over-drying and has a pleasant, subtle scent because I’m sensitive for strong scents. After using it for a few days, my scalp feels refreshed, and my hair looks more vibrant. It lathers well and rinses easily. A great choice for a healthy scalp and shiny hair!! I have their oils as well and they are my top choices when it comes to my hair !!

The small bottle lasts forever because even with thick, long hair it doesn't require a huge amount of product for each use. Works MAGIC on my hair! Smells even better <3 LOVE LOVE LOVE Love the smell. Hair is so soft and curly. Conditioner allows me to comb through my easily tangled curls . Forever a fan!! I love the way that this shampoo and conditioner smell and makes my hair so soy. It doesn’t weigh down your hair or cause a build up. My hair dresser told me that my hair is super healthy and asked me what I used to make my hair so soft. My one complaint is the packaging if I’m paying this price for shampoo and conditioner I want the pump to work and it rarely does. This is on the expensive side for shampoo and conditioner but a little goes a long ways.
