Moroccanoil Smart Styling Infrared Hair Dryer

I ordered this blow dryer after searching endlessly for the right price, size and weight, ability with newest technology and this was "okay." I felt at the high price point it should be a little more perfect hair results-OMG type feeling. It seemed to do the job well! I wasn't aware of any new state of the art technology that was doing anything less damaging or more damage. So, I am still searching and it is going back to Sephora. I have found results very impressive from some competitive brands half the price. It is a nice dryer, tho.

Bad experience so far

So far I have been extremely disappointed. It took a solid two weeks to receive the blow dryer I purchased. As you know, these are not cheap blow dryers. It came very well packaged, but when opened, the blow dryer was slightly cracked and sounded like it was going to blow up when we plugged it in. I have reached out for help and I’m patiently waiting for a response.

Best hair dryer ever!

Dries my hair fast & reduces frizz. This hair dryer, paired with Moisture Repair Shampoo & Hydrating Conditioner, leaves my hair silky smooth. Normally my hair is naturally wavy, dry, & very frizzy, not anymore. After extended use, my hair keeps getting softer & more tame. Love it & highly recommend!!! Saved my points & got a 2nd one to keep at the office for quick touch ups on rainy days.

Controls my fine-hair frizz even in humidity

This dryer arrived literally at the peak of my "bad hair" season. I have fine curly/wavy hair but a head FULL of it. When it's humid, my hair gets frizzy, big, and hard to tame. I invested in this dryer with the hopes of managing my hair in the heat and humidity.It is pricey, but I'm going on a week now and so far have concluded that it's worth the price for me. It took several experimental sessions to find the right heat and speed to ensure my hair was dry, frizz-free, and yet my curls and waves were intact. It died after three months while I was using it. Big struggle dealing with them on the warranty. They haven't replaced it. Save yourself.

So I purchased direct from this website and used it for three months. It died while I was drying my hair. Stopped blowing but the heating element was still working and so it started smoking. I unplugged it immediately. It says two year warranty so I called and was told I would receive a shipping label to return it. Sounds reasonable but no label received. Called back after five days - no representative anymore just a recording saying to send an email. I sent an email. No response. It's been almost two weeks. No shipping label, no refund, no replacement, just one dead 190 DOLLAR practically new hair dryer. It's junk and they aren't honoring the warranty. I had to a buy another dryer in the meantime anyway. Save yourself.

LOVE it!!!

I bought this dryer to replace my broken Chi. I was temporarily using a Conair dryer in the meantime until I got this one, and the difference is like night and day. I wear a full head of tape-in extensions, and have natural moderately thick hair. When I dried it with the two previous dryers, I looked like Cousin It until I flat-ironed it. But this dryer smooths out all that frizziness without having to straighten it. I still do flat-iron it, but not nearly as aggressively as I had to before. This dryer is super cute too and compact.

Lightweight, quiet, fast drying, with shine

Amazing! I’ve had a number of Moroccan oil blow dryers over the years and this one is by far the best. So light, dries my hair fast, and leaves it shiny and with some volume. Only way to improve is figure out a better way to store the cord. I don’t understand why that is rarely addressed with blowdryers.

Moroccanoil Smart Styling Hair Dryer

I love this blowdryer. The colors are pretty. Diffrent settings allow for cool to very hot and low to high intensity. My hair does not feel damaged after using it. I almost dont need a straightening iron after I dry it straight with the concentrated nossel. The accessory ends were hard to fit on, tight but better than loose or falling off. The cord length is nice. My only miss from my last one that it folds up for easier storage and this does not. Overall though great drier I would use it professionally and personally. Finally invested in a quality dryer and I am not disappointed. Managed to get 20% off sale around Christmas time. It arrived quickly is a well constructed protected box with all accessories.

No longevity - not worth investing in

I originally was so pleased when I purchased this blow dryer 2-3 years ago. Unfortunately it has stopped working. For this price point I would expect it to last me much longer.. the $30 blow dryer from my drugstore prior to this purchase lasted me years and years. Not worth the investment as the longevity just isn't there with this product :(

Very gentle on hair.

I wash and dry my shoulder-length hair almost every day, so I wanted to try a dryer that would be extra gentle on my healthy-but-fine hair. This is what I was looking for, as it has slightly less airflow and heat than most dryers on the market. It takes a minute or two longer to dry my hair, but it definitely delivers a shinier and healthier result. It’s an added plus that this dryer is super lightweight too. I’m not about to give up my old Drybar Buttercup, which I also really like, but I find that I’m using this one by Moroccanoil more and more. I use high speed and medium heat—it works great.
